theres a missing prop, but it still works and looks nice
maciov 24. mar. 2021 kl. 10:54
just realized i subscribed this asset to see whether the creator put some info/update about this garage, but it aint gonna happen... shame, cos it was one of the finest objects imo :(
Glam_Helen 23. mar. 2021 kl. 17:45
It's too bad this can't be fixed. I wish I knew how to make these beautiful assets, then I would definitely update this. Off to never never land...:steamfacepalm:
tarkan.selahiye 13. mar. 2021 kl. 6:01
Since the below error is still not fixed since many years, we can only assume this is an UNSUPPORTED ASSET!

Asset bug: Workshop asset uses private asset (bipinprops_csl_delineator1.Orange Delineator_Data)
Rezznor7 23. feb. 2020 kl. 17:59
Good grief, does nobody go back a page or two to see that the question regarding the Orange Delineator has been brought up many times since it was posted back in 2016? Chances are if it hasn't been fixed by now, it won't be.
Jack 1. nov. 2019 kl. 8:19
Love the look of this, but Loading Screen mod report it showing an asset error:

Orange Delineator
Used by:
Old Parking Garage

Asset bug: Workshop asset uses private asset (bipinprops_csl_delineator1.Orange Delineator_Data).

Is the orange delineator prop available?
Seminole Wolf 15. okt. 2019 kl. 20:44
I saw no responses to my comments below so I finally felt I needed to uninstall this parking garage just to avoid those orange messages in the Loading Mod screen. This is unfortunate, because I like that garage.
Seminole Wolf 7. juli 2019 kl. 20:28
I just noticed this comment:
"@deoxyribonucleic, you're using the private version of the delineator prop by accident, instead of the published one. " I subscribed to the version of Orange Delineator that this Parking Garage asset links to when subscribing to it. I certainly didn't do anything wrong, and neither did deoxyribonucleic below.
Seminole Wolf 7. juli 2019 kl. 20:25
I should have mentioned that in the loader screen, it says that Orange Delineator is missing. But it's not, and I have verified this by looking in the Content Manager and confirming on Steam. I'm subscribed to it, for sure.

I have the latest build of C:S and have been looking for good and functional parking lots and parking garages. This one looked interesting and right out of the 1970s! But it throws an error when loading even into a new map.

I use the Loading Screen Mod to produce reports to help me figure out what's actually wrong.

The Asset Report says this:
"Asset bug: Workshop asset uses private asset (bipinprops_csl_delineator1.Orange Delineator_Data)."

The message above leads me to believe that the "private asset" noted above is the child asset "Orange Delineator". Can this be fixed, and if so, how?

Thanks!
Strategy Nerd 17. mar. 2019 kl. 11:09
@deoxyribonucleic, you're using the private version of the delineator prop by accident, instead of the published one.

Workshop asset requires private content, seems like asset bug
maciov 14. aug. 2018 kl. 13:06
does it have any capacity? looks like it doesn't work the way as it seems. i had max 2-3 cars per floor after waiting for a long time. (it's nothing about wrong placement or smth, because some other parking lots were mostly full). such a shame, this garage is such a beauty. remindes me of oscar nemeyer's architecture :)
kranyarssk14 5. dec. 2017 kl. 11:34
I really hope you make more CS mods. You were the best in simcity!
Mister_K 24. juni 2017 kl. 6:00
it's not functional
Zel 25. maj 2017 kl. 22:39
Assett references the Orange Marker Post but the asset number is different to what is needed.

I can confirm the problem with the private content
genosse.stanil 13. apr. 2017 kl. 11:31
+deoxyribonucleic you have a privat content error in your asset, according to Loading Screen Mod:

Red Flag 23. mar. 2017 kl. 5:10
This is very cool. Thank you for making this.
DrBill 18. feb. 2017 kl. 23:09
Of the 2,000 assets I have in the game, yours has more than twice as many Triangles as any of the others: 27,170. This isn't necessarily a complaint just a concern when it comes to performance on my very limited machine. I do like the looks of this car park it's very authentic an different looking.
BrowncoatTrekky 28. dec. 2016 kl. 16:02
No worries. If you can make it an active one, add me and can throw some support your way.
deoxyribonucleic  [ophavsmand] 28. dec. 2016 kl. 15:56
Cool idea Browncoat, thanks for the comment and kind words! :steamhappy:
BrowncoatTrekky 28. dec. 2016 kl. 12:49
Love this asset. How about a garage that is revered for being most secure found here? [en.wikipedia.org] Thumbed up this asset. Cool stuff and great job!
deoxyribonucleic  [ophavsmand] 27. sep. 2016 kl. 10:54
Yeah, I'm still not quite sure how to get that asset onto the workshop, as it's a local file I used for the delineators, but apparently uploading to the workshop creates a copy of said file. I cannot use the workshop version since I must have --nowkrshop on to even access the asset editor. :-\
Phaz 26. sep. 2016 kl. 9:04
This mod seems to be missing a dependancy (log from Loading Screen Mod):

deoxyribonucleic  [ophavsmand] 5. sep. 2016 kl. 8:52
Ah, gotcha. Seeing as SC4 is still my homeboy, so to speak, I'd love to model more original Sim City buildings for use in CSL. I'll be sure to start with some of the more renown ones!
a moon upon a stick 5. sep. 2016 kl. 8:03
no I mean more sc4 buildings for Cities skylines
Pepe taxi 5. sep. 2016 kl. 7:57
does this actually work? like does it have a function or is it just a prop taking up space?
deoxyribonucleic  [ophavsmand] 5. sep. 2016 kl. 7:37
@a moon upon a stick: This and a few other of my CSL models will be available for SC4. Everything I model can be used between the games, as long as I do separate renders of course!
a moon upon a stick 4. sep. 2016 kl. 19:22
can you add this to your list?? quigley place, ryan apartments and simon manor

a moon upon a stick 4. sep. 2016 kl. 19:18
hi can you make more SC4 assets? :)
deoxyribonucleic  [ophavsmand] 3. sep. 2016 kl. 8:26
Well, the delineators are not essential to the workings of the model; just an additional prop to beautify the lot, so I'd suggest using the lot as-is until I have a chance in a few days to start of CSL and fix it. Thanks for the tips though.
Chamëleon TBN 3. sep. 2016 kl. 7:52
@deoxyribonucleic - Unfortunately I can't give you any hints on this as I am not an asset creator. Svenpotsdam just explained this to me. If you can't use the items that are available from the workshop others will not see the Orange Delineator/Marker Post in your asset at all... an option may be to create an second version w/o the prop...
deoxyribonucleic  [ophavsmand] 3. sep. 2016 kl. 7:32
Thanks for the kind words Quantum3 and TPB, and thanks for the tips too!

@Unsereins - Ah, that's awfully annoying. I had to go with --noworkshop in order to properly use the asset editor, otherwise, many of the buttons don't show up. I know a lot of people have this issue and from what I've heard, it's yet to be solved (there's no single mod/asset which provokes it). Until I figure this out, I may just upload my local file as an additional download - it just isn't possible for me to use the workshop version, unless moving its .crp to my local directory (so then I may use --noWorkshop) would solve the issue.
Chamëleon TBN 3. sep. 2016 kl. 7:06
@deoxyribonucleic - Thank you for your work! But the Orange Delineator/Marker Post in your asset is private content. It is not using the one from the workshop. You must upload the Orange Delineator/Marker Post in the workshop, after it you have to subscribe to your own asset and then you can create this "Parking Garage" with the subscribed one. After that, it will work for all users.

@TBP - I know but it is easier for the user if there are already parking markers placed =:)
Øuantum3 2. sep. 2016 kl. 21:37
amazing job mate, and yes, the lut is great!
Katalepsis 2. sep. 2016 kl. 15:19
This is amazing! Thank you Bipin.

For people asking about functional parking: Use more beautification + prop anarchy to place more parking markers yourself after you plop this ;)
deoxyribonucleic  [ophavsmand] 2. sep. 2016 kl. 8:21
Thank you for the kind words everyone. I was frustrated by the lack of parking garages (especially decent-looking ones). I figured it would be best to take the reigns myself and create exactly what I want. Speaking of which, the textures are also my own creation. I've been slowed down significantly by game issues, but I'll release them as soon as I can - a week or two I'd imagine,

As far as I'm concerned, this is a fully functional lot. While not every spot will spawn/host cars (limited to n<64 props) I've distributed such spots evenly around all levels and sides of the garage. It'll fill up nicely. ;-)

The LUT I'm using now (and for that matter, always use) is CornWilliam. The colours are lovely!
Chamëleon TBN 2. sep. 2016 kl. 1:15
Is it a full functional parking garage?
StafG 1. sep. 2016 kl. 22:08
LUT please?
girlfromverona 1. sep. 2016 kl. 21:06
Beautiful!
Trollsama 1. sep. 2016 kl. 18:25
does it actually park cars, and of so does it utalize all the spots?
Londsw 1. sep. 2016 kl. 14:29
Good work =)) we needed this
Captain James 1. sep. 2016 kl. 12:05
Beautiful work!
EmDoubleYou 1. sep. 2016 kl. 10:22
Great work!
Can you tell me the name of the LUT and where you got the textures from?
vanishedelephant 1. sep. 2016 kl. 8:55
Amazing!
