this is before installing the mod but does it also work for darts ??? please answer i need to know before i get said mod

Ok, it seems that the latest patch for 360.1 has fixed my mods - i've tested all of my mods on ARK Prime and they work again!

unfortunately, i can confirm that - i will look into it after i return from my holiday trip in SEP.
Maybe the devs will fix this meanwhile

its too OP should be balanced for better experience. taks joy out with one punch man knockout with no effort.

i have been using this mod for a very long time, the red arrows are my favorite, expensive to craft but they knockout almost everything vanila with just 1 or 2 arrows :)

With this mod you don't have to spend 20 minutes shooting 80 tranq arrows in a max level T-Rex :) also great for mods like Primal Fear

Can either the dev or someone else tell my how I might be able to change the potency of the arrows. I'm playing mostly vanilla ark with a max dino level of 150 and any arrow past the yellow is way to powerful and too easy to craft.

IMO this mod is good, for those who played with extreme high level dino. probably to 600+ atleast. IF lower definitely consider cheating cause too strong.

You can accumulate basic resources to make highly exagerated knocking ammo. No point in making the rifle, the shocking tranc dart (highest tier for torpor) does less torpor than the blue arrow, it spoils and need metal and bio toxin to make.
This is very close to cheating as making narcotics is tretty easy and safe

can the amount be added, this is way too imbalance for my friends.

great mod however feels a tiny bit imbalanced being able to knock out a giga with few easily craftable arrows

ive unlocked the purple narcotic but i cant find where tyo craft it

@Connor you can craft it in inventory, don't need the mortor and pestle just narcotics

This should be in Vanila Ark! Took me 1 Red arrow to take down a lvl 135 Bronto, way better than having to fire over a 100+ Tranq arrows to get down a high level dino.

Same difficulty in both, its just another way to produce the arrows / narcos.

Well, if you play on a low difficulty server - maybe.
In my oppinion the game lacks in 2 things regarding narcos.

1. no high level narco-ammo to shoot from distance and/or underwater against lets say a LV 1k+ Dino. currently the shock tranq dart does round about 450 total torpor that is a little more than my least narco arrow does.

2. no high level narco-item to feed a high level dino to keep torpor up.

You can change, lock or modify the engrams or recipes to make the arrows/narcos.
For example: lock all items except the blue ones and set them to LV100 engrams if you want to.
This gives you some freedom.

On the other side this mod makes it easier to play in single player or with 2-3 friends in a small tribe without the need of "ridiculous time" to get your preparations done for the boss fights and achieve the late game challenges.

Think about how long it takes to even made it to the overseer in a 2 player tribe with diff 0.5.
Not speaking of killing him and finish the game / get the ascension.

This mod does nothing change regarding taming. So if on your server alpha-taming is possible, then yes you can tame.

can i tame an aplha with these?

no, taming times are not affected by this mod.

Does this have any effect on the taming time?
I'm asking because i play on my own server and using normal tranq arrows on 1 creature then using blue arrows on another resulted in the the creature knocked with the blue one taking 10 times the time for taming.
Will check again an report though.

i second toosdey's question! im playing a semi vanilla play through and like using x-tended tranqs but they delete the tranq dart blueprint from the engram tree which ruins multiple mods i have that require the tranq dart blueprint, but i dont like it being over powered for vanilla basedd creatures!

Is there a version of this where the items aren't quite so extreme, like maybe x2, x3, x4 ect

@SOG | Benji: Somewhere here around is a "how to" to change the crafting materials and engram points required for each recipe. Try looking in the comments.

Is there any way at all to edit the cost of narcs? Like if I wanted to increase the amount each narcotic cost to craft? I run a small private server and the players love the diversity in using tranqs with different potency but have all told me the cost is too easy.

It saves a tamer WHO is terribly lazy

@murdrax: Try to delete the mod-files manually in the mod folder os your ark installation and redownload the mod. Do you play on a dedicated server hosted in you lan environment ?

im having problems i have this mod installed and enabled hwoever the other arrows and narcotics dont appear for learning or crafting them. and using cheat code nothing spawns

the is single-handedly the best Narc&Tranq mod that exists. I agree with SquidNeko that dart versions (for Longneck), as well as Harpoon Spears need to be added.

Could you possibly make so there is dart versions too instead of it only bieng arrows? =3
