Just walked by this building the other day! It's on the corner of 4th Ave and 9th St around Gowanus in Brooklyn, 251 9th Street to be exact. Passed it by and was like "...wait a second... I've seen that building in CS!" Love your work Feindbild, thanks for keeping your older creations up, your Brooklyn/Manhattan collections really are a must-have for any North American city.

I am almost certain that it would not break saved games, because it does not alter the game itself. It is not a true CS Mod.

Better save than sorry

Working with with Vanilla as an actual elder care center would be nice, I do wonder how many people are actually using it vs. just sitting around subbed. It's should not break a save but it will, probably nessatate the need to build a few new hospitals.

I wasn't just taking about the Nursing Home Mod. I was also talking about the Elder Care Center in the VANILLA rendition.

Its just a name, I can name it whatever I want :). Im not using that mod and I dont know anybody who does. It makes no sense for me to change it. It wouldl, like I said, also potentially kill saves of 1000s of people.

How does it not make any sense? You specifically said "ELDERLY HOME". There is specific content for that.

Also, I'd consider putting a sign on the building to denote its status. It's a beautiful building, and I've already downloaded it.

I mean, it's specifically meant to be Elder Care in the original name and building. Why not make it into an Elder Care building, or a Nursing Home Mod structure? There are so few of those, that you doing so would be a splendid niche!

Its a normal hospital, no plans to change that :)

Yeah I sorta feel you on that, I guess I can live with the 'slightly reduced stats'.

@Kitten even back in 2016, I didnt cared about the simulation aspect of the game. Description says it has slightly reduced stats, what ever that means :)

Yes I know it is. I was looking for a different Elder Care center and in the search box under "Building" I put Elder and this was the first option. Given that I have your entire Brooklyn line I thought you had made a nice and tidy Brooklyn-ized Elder Care center. not realizing this is the same hospital I already use in many areas as I never paid attention to the name before LOL

Could you when you have the chance add the stats to the Description? Such as number of ambos, patients and service radius.

I may cry, I thought this was a nice small version of the blastedly humongous Eldercare home that takes up about 15 squares. (Ok exaggeration complete) I do like this though but I am already subbed LOL

Hey Feindbild can you make a Brooklyn style hospital that you would see in the early 1900s or late 1800s i need one for a file i'm doing.

This one is the first medical facility in every one of my new cities because it is affordable and fits in well with the low-rise infill

When I first read the title of this, I thought it was an asset for the Senior Citizen mod, too. haha.

It would, if you want to help idiots like me from deleting all their elderly homes, when they change the district to Brooklyn. On another note, don't you think Brooklyn needs elderly homes?

Thats kind of the point, its a small building and it would make no sense for it to be called a hospital.

Please call it something with hospital, with LARGE letters. Elderly home sounds like an elderly home, ie. nursing home!

You just need to subscribe and they will appear ingame, you can check the ingame contentmanger if they are activated

I like to know how to open op for the houses in the game. When playing, I dont find any of the houses I clik on. So how do I put them in to my town ?!................

I know this is a silly nitpick, but wouldn't an elderly home have some kind of disability access ramp?
