I think this mission is broken. Cars ended up in the ocean and once we arrived at the FOB there was nothing but dead bodies.

Once you reach the station, you need to clear it of enemies. Make sure you got all of them, there are two or so automated turrets that also count as enemies for this purpose.

@Liberty_Valance clear obj worked for me as of a few days ago, note there is a couple of EI garrisoned inside some of the warehouse buildings, it's possible they are still alive (and causing the clear to not trigger).

There are also two vehicles patrolling the area, one of them seems to periodically drive close to/through the station as well.

there is no end to this mission. When at the radio station even after an hour wait and all ennemies dead, all builgings cleared, nothing happens ! very frustrating

Liberty_Valance, you shouldn't need to wait for an hour, that was not the intention. The trigger should go off as soon as the site is clear. There are two autonomous sentry guns, I made them blufor so they wouldn't be necessary to be destroyed, but that was in an update, did you play the original version ?

@jita The mission should end there. If you are playing MP, make sure that your whole group is near the train station, and that you clear your command bar (select all units, and issue "report position"). Sometimes, Arma does not register a unit as dead if nobody saw it. In this case, the unit is still seen as alive by the engine, and even scripting will not be able to determine that the unit is dead. This is pretty annoying, but it's a bug in Arma, there's little I can do on a mission maker's side

One of the best missions I've ever played. I played it in SP and certainly enjoyed the atmosphere. The weather effects were awesome, the pouring rain, the lightning. It was great. Someday maybe I can find some people to play it in Zeus with.

I wouldn't say it's useless. Long downtimes can raise suspense. This mission was a test, it's very unlike my other missions. Besides, it's meant to be played in multiplayer, and a Zeus can make a lot.

For example, when we played it on CiA, I just made a civilian limp out from the gas station and collapse half way across the street. This freaked everyone out.

I realize that in single player, this isn't an option, and maybe I should simply not have added a single player tag to the mission.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback, I always appreciate if people that don't like my missions actually tell me what is wrong, not simply downvote and not give any feedback

a kilometer, no more, could have been more adequate. yes you are not the only developper who makes the user walk or drive for a very long trip; but I still think it to be useless.

Well, there's not much to address, really. Yes, it's a long drive, followed by another drive. The mission is meant to be multiplayer, and relies more on atmosphere. It was basically an attempt at a mission that will not plunge you into action immediately, but keeps you in suspense. As such, I think it's not really suited for singleplayer.

very bad. first you have to drive 3.5 km with a team unable to drive another vehicle. second you have again to drive (to walk) 3.1 km to the next point. I did not, I quit before walking this 3.1 km.
If the purpose of the game is to walk for an hour ....

@Papabull Hmm, it should end there, you don't need to be in the building, just the general area. Make sure to "clean the command bar", i.e. select all, and then press 5-8 to report all as dead... those that are dead but where not registerd as dead will then be really dead, and then it should work

Enjoying it so far - but seem to be stuck at the train yard. Dig in marker in middle of non-enterable building, my squad is in cover - waiting quite a while with no attackers or orders.

Decent mission. Playing with a group of 5 people with AI, it was a nice challenge. Story seems interesting so far, assuming it\s going to continue in another missions.

First of all, appreciate that you actually write something, instead of simple downvoting.

I would like to address some points:

Boringness: Maybe, it's surely a lot of driving and such in the beginning. Some like it, some don't. Your mileage may wary.

No voiceacting: True, but that applies to roughly 95 % of all missions on the workshop.

Sophisticated AI: What the heck does that mean ?

No respawn: Yes, this is intentional, since I personally hate respawn.

Difficulty: I had people complain it was too difficult, and too easy. Depends on your playthrough. Overall, I agree it's on the easier side. So what ?

"Gltichy triggers": Care to explain ?

Also, explain how the mission goals are unclear ?

Most boring, bland mission. Literally no substance to it. No voice acting. Object placement is meh at best. Doesn't utilize much AI or sophisticated AI. CO10 is a joke; can be easily completed on the hardest difficulty with 1 player, 3 players is overkill, 10 players would be retarded easy. No respawn (not that it needs any, anyways, considering how easy it is). Triggers are glitchy and a pain in the ass and the objectives are unclear.

Not sure why this mission is highly rated. It's unfinished, it's sloppy and it's boring.
