I like that you're continuing to work on and update your old mods, but I have to admit I preferred the previous version's animations (even if the new ones may be more realistic and professional, if that makes sense).

If it isn't too much trouble, maybe you could at least upload the old version of this gun with the older animations as a separate mod for those who might prefer the previous version. That'd be pretty sweet, but either way, keep up the good work.

Is the old version avaliable to download? Because I miss the old animations and model/textures.

I actually liked the pump grip and the "taking out the shotgun" animation of the old one, not as cool in the update.

But the fact you actually care to update addons is impressive, props to you!

You know what I also love in your mods? The fact that whenever you update them, you also change the preview render. Please, keep that small tradition of yours.

@A Deep Commitment, were you playing around with scripts at the time? If you enable/disable several script addons without restarting the game, it WILL crash on pickup.

Do some stress testing, if you please. Loaded this mod, as soon as I picked up the shotgun the game hard-crashed

@ VeldroN: Some servers don't show custom models. Nothing to do with my mod I'm afraid.

@ @ Xkilljoy98: It looks similar to later shotguns, but is very different on how it works (not how it's used, but its mechanics).

It's rare, so I doubt there are that many games that have it. But then again, who knows.

@ Tööttieläin, fair enough. I know I saw similar guns in games, but I can't find any either. I suppose I got it confused with something else since pump shotguns look similar. Although I'm sure it is in another game somewhere.

@ Xkilljoy98: The way I see it, Bioshock games haven't really ever been that big hit as multiplayer games. Weapon from only the game's multiplayer (which not that many plays/played) doesn't count in my books as much as first game where the shotgun was shown more prominently.

So, that's the reasoning behind the sentence.

I'm actually curious. In what games (other than two Bioshocks) has the Spencer been? I couldn't find any other.

@ asura: All of my weapon mods wholly created by me. This isn't the first one.

I will improve the animations at some point. I've been making improvements to my older mods while making new ones (for example: my Webley addons were updated with total animation overhaul week or two ago).

@ simon9072015: It depends. I fitted the animations to official servers timeframe. Unfortunately, I have no idea how the animation length should be counted in the qc-file, so I had to create a workaround by erasing fps command line (that affects the animation length) from the qc and adjusting animation lengths manually. It fits to the official servers, but it might differ depending on if the server runs modified animation speeds.

why i feel to this shotgun shoot a 0.25 seconds more slower?

shooting animation is great but after shoving it brings the gun back to its idle posistion oddly fast, and after done reloading it looks like the players hand teleports back into place. One last thing iv noticed is the wrist look like they are protruding out instead of a smooth bone structure for the hand it looks like the wrist is trying to break out of the skin. Love the model though and the ejection of the shells is very cool.
