Love this game, one of the first steam games i ever played back when i was a kid. Great to see mods for it still getting updates!

Another big update today. Many new rooms of course, but also new monsters, new orbs and other high-level gear for the late game, etc. Also this version sees the return of a few things that had been in earlier versions of ID or YTTG ("Yes Time To Grind") that predate the Steam Workshop era of Dred-Modding, now back with updates, bug fixes, and a fresh coat of paint.

Thank you for the update! I've been revisiting the game as I try to win on hard difficulty and it was a really pleasant surprise to come across new rooms after 100s of hours playing the game! I just want you to know that there are dozens of us still playing who appreciate this (dozens of us!)

Updated again tonight. Recent (2024) Updates include:
* 17 More Rooms, for a variety of floors! (Total room count in this version of the mod = 48)
* 2 New Diggle Gods!
* Things that will kill you!
* Bug Fixes! The silver dagger is finally a dagger! I can't believe I let that linger for a decade.

Feeling nostalgic, I played some Dredmor the other day, and got annoyed by the little things that I'd meant to fix a decade ago. A dagger that thought it was a sword. A halberd that was redundant. A few jokes that _really_ didn't age well. So I fixed them today. While I was at it, I threw in 2 new rooms, and a Diggle God. Hopefully I didn't break anything in the process. It's been a long time since I've modded anything.

@jirow - Interior Dredmorating doesn't have any encrusts in it, or really do anything at all with encrusting, so any encrusting bug you may be encountering is almost certainly a bug in the core game itself.

I'm getting instability on first encrusts, and this is the only mod I'm using.
On vanilla it doesn't happen.

Please check it, there is something fishy.

This crashes my game sometimes when I go down a floor. I am not using any other mods and I don't have DLCs other than the free one.

@Redskull and others saying it's not running. It's possible that I have a dependency in the mod that requires Realm of the Diggle Gods or one of the other DLCs. I thought I'd removed all those dependencies so anyone could run it without them, but it's been long since I've poked through the code, I'm not sure. Best I can offer is that you might try installing / turning on all the official DLCs, and then running the mod. I'd love to get back to this and update the mod sometime (I have a ton of extra content that I've touched in many months) but it's not likely to happen any time soon.

The chairs. The tables. All confused. We hear the words, and must speak them. We take them, and arrange them, but still, they will not be quiet.
Everything is wrong. This is not straight. This is too high. This is in my way. We must put them right.

Since I am Banned from the forums without knowing why, I cannot ask there if this works with the new DLC. I am going to limit my mods to only those that confirm they work with the new version and DLC. Thanks in advance for any answers.

Make a room where all the robots scream at you.

Both known bugs will be fixed today, so anyone stuck on floor 14 or in a robot factory will no longer have that problem. However, as with all Steam Workshop Mod updates, there's a good chance this will break save games for everyone. Fingers crossed.

I crashed 5 times before finally getting down that floor.

Anyone find a viable fix for floor 15? :( I've tried all of the staircases, and whenever i try and go down, the game crashes without warning. Everything else about this mod is awesome! Keep up the great work!

I believe it is thanks to this mod, that 8 level 0 portals are possible. (Which by random chance, is pretty damned awesome.)

When ever I try to go down to floor 15 I crash. I can reload my save from quiting(I have permadeath on) and be right in front of the staircase. If I try to go down any of the staircases on the 14th floor I crash to desktop without warning.

@Cabrony i beat DoD with this mod just fine but i had all the latest updates/expansions and i played on smaller floors (going rogue, perma death, no time to grind, ROTDG, YHTNTEP)

Got stuck in the robot factory. One of the teleportation levers does not work anymore.
