Nice TNG reference. Yeah, it is annoying to hear prospective crewmembers go "Huh?" with their dialogue going "PLZ HIRE ME, I'LL BE REAL GOOD! IZ SO BORING DOWN HERE." Definitely going to use this for a long time.

Could you make a mod like that? If you work with gmp who made the job offer mod this could be a great alternitive to the current promotion system

Foreck: even if I knew how, I'm not entirely certain you'd get the original colonist (or a visually identical one at the very least) back. Making them not promote at all would seem easier.

Do you think you can get it a step further and make an option to turn them into normal colonists again? (I know the original npc dissapear once turned into an aspiring crew member but even if you create a new one it would be great) or even some kind of option to disable colonists joining your crew (to use with job offers mod for example)
