Alright this used to work back on 2.0, but has anyone had luck with 2.2.2? I haven't.
AncientGatekeeper 26. dec. 2018 kl. 23:13

The Erubian Warlord 26. dec. 2018 kl. 20:54

RandomEdits 2. sep. 2018 kl. 11:04

Spiffing Reynard 27. juni 2018 kl. 20:38
Update?
SlainEnmity 3. maj 2018 kl. 1:35
wouldnt hurt to update, the more casus bellis the better, vanilla is so empty and bland
SlainEnmity 3. maj 2018 kl. 1:35
putting 2.0 in the mod name is very confusing, thought it meant it was updated for 2.0
falhxer 15. feb. 2018 kl. 5:15
when 2.0 will come out i will give it a try, otherwise, i will try learn modding, and create a similar yet very different mod, when vassalizing shouldnt be possible
AncientGatekeeper 9. feb. 2018 kl. 9:47
Does anyone know if this will work on 1.9+?
CookieHonstah 21. dec. 2017 kl. 22:51
i hope this mod isn't dead. I need it for my fanatical pacifist playthrough
Porter 24. nov. 2017 kl. 17:47

Tom Jackal 3. okt. 2017 kl. 16:39

Porter 25. sep. 2017 kl. 14:52

InFarAday 28. juli 2017 kl. 10:12
Hello, I think I found a bug : you added test blocks in your war_demand_types.txt -> demilitarize_permanently to ensure the target of the demilitarization can be a vassal under the winner. However, if the winner is too advanced technologically, it won't work because the target can be a protectorate but NOT a vassal. The faulty code is :

can_be_subject = {
overlord = <prev/root/fromfromfrom> (scope according)
subject_type = vassal
}

and should be replaced by :

OR = {
can_be_subject = {
overlord = <scope whatever blabla>
subject_type = vassal
}
can_be_subject = {
overlord = <scope whatever blabla>
subject_type = protectorate
}
}

Unless it's intentional of course, but I doubt it. If needed I can provide my modified version of the code.

Merci thank you
lpslucasps  [ophavsmand] 30. juni 2017 kl. 8:49
@Uncle Ben

The code for my mode is available on github. Here's the link: https://github.com/lpslucasps/Stellaris--War-Demand--Demilitarize
Uncle Ben 30. juni 2017 kl. 8:45
to clarify, all I really need is something to copy paste and build off of
Uncle Ben 30. juni 2017 kl. 8:40
Ipsulcasps, I'm trying to learn how to mod, and was wondering if you could give me some tips as to how I would go about making a war demand mod. It would be for personal use at first, to test and all that
Froggy 29. juni 2017 kl. 16:03
ok it work a litle.. i think
Froggy 29. juni 2017 kl. 15:58
wait I havent notice but the mods is for 1.2 it is working?
Froggy 29. juni 2017 kl. 15:55
I think demilitarized subject should have -90% naval capacity beacause they rest on their overlord for their military protection but keep just enough military power to manage their interior troubles and i think demilitarized zones could be cool like you chose a system from the ennemis empire and wen you win every military station and spaceport are dismantle and their military fleet cannot enter in the system annymore (excuse me for my english I am french)
GwenBlanketSpecter 26. maj 2017 kl. 8:49
I made on own subject type mod a while back. but it stopped working with the latest updates and i have yet to figure why. any ideas what may have changed? can't find much information anywhere.
Weiss 16. maj 2017 kl. 15:57
@lpslucasps Awesome thank you! And thank you for the helpful info. One of the issues I was coming across was getting the Permanent War Demand to show up under the right circumstances.
lpslucasps  [ophavsmand] 16. maj 2017 kl. 7:08
@Schmidt Feel free to use this mod or its concept in your work. If it's any help, you can look at how I coded it here: https://github.com/lpslucasps/Stellaris--War-Demand--Demilitarize
Weiss 14. maj 2017 kl. 19:49
Hey, I am currently working on a new mod for Extra War Demands. Could I include your concept in my own, and give attribution?
Bones_6 12. apr. 2017 kl. 9:52
Would love an update for this! But, looks like it may be dead :-(
Cloud Icarus 6. apr. 2017 kl. 16:15
Will you update for Utopia? Looks like a nice mod!
Kōmyō 7. dec. 2016 kl. 21:39
Any idea if it works for 1.4.0?
Dariorthan 6. nov. 2016 kl. 9:18
@Dr. Von Feffarf read the description
Vanidas 6. nov. 2016 kl. 9:15
Does the war demand require a specific war philosophy to use? I don't seem to ever be able to request the demand.
joebro 4. nov. 2016 kl. 14:34
Could you please update this and Better Subjects to be compatible with 1.3x? Perhaps make a combination mod? Seems like they should be in the base game!
lyndonguitar 24. okt. 2016 kl. 2:51
Looks really cool. I hope someone confirms if it works with 1.3 and If I can play it with my ongoing 1.3 save or do I need to start a new game
Peter34 23. okt. 2016 kl. 10:04
This mod seems to work with 1.3. At least the game launches and plays with it enabled, although I have yet to use the features in my 1.3 games.
Dariorthan 23. okt. 2016 kl. 4:37
@Dovenius, The Pacifist 1)TRY! 2) yes it does
Dovenius 23. okt. 2016 kl. 2:13

Voron 2. okt. 2016 kl. 8:31

Til Schweiger on anabolica 5. sep. 2016 kl. 9:59
nice mod :steamhappy:
Joshua Norton 31. aug. 2016 kl. 8:43
gosh, i hope this gets into the base game soon, it really bothers me that there is not option for something like this in the vanilla game, and i'm not even playing as a pacifist empire yet.

great work on the mod, thank you :)
lpslucasps  [ophavsmand] 13. aug. 2016 kl. 18:05
@BJ @Gaffer Bell @LordZarmack
Thank you very much!
lpslucasps  [ophavsmand] 13. aug. 2016 kl. 17:54
Added some fluff to the stabilization process of Demilitarized Subjects. Two events should make the process more gradual, and you can even interrupt the process.
LordZarmack 12. aug. 2016 kl. 23:00
good mod, good idear, perfectly exsecuted. good work +
Gaffer Bell 11. aug. 2016 kl. 17:00
This is such a great diplomacy option. I'll be adding it once ive finished mopping up my Steam Achievements!:steamhappy:
BJ 11. aug. 2016 kl. 13:27
great addition to the game!
lpslucasps  [ophavsmand] 11. aug. 2016 kl. 13:08
Version 2.0 released, with a lot of changes!

Now, there are four demilitarizing war demands, divided into two types: Temporary and Permanent.

The temporary demilitarizations vary in length (10, 15 and 30 years) and cost.

The permanent demilitarization will turn the loser into the Demilitarized Subject of the winner, a special type of subject empire. Demilitarized Subjects cost 1 influence per month and are proteccted by their overlord, BUT can become Stable Demilitarized Subjects after 30 years, giving you 1 influence per month and 15% of their energy/minerals.

For more information, please, read the description.
RoiDesDragons 10. aug. 2016 kl. 12:26
@Ipslucasps and Dariorthan, I've had several wars where I constructed my main fleet after the war started, so deactivating the debuff would help tremendously, and it would make sense too
