I have one important question: Vigilant Plate Armor... does it fall under Steel Plate armor? So it can benefit from the perk where you get 25% extra armor rating if you wear a matching set?

Reason I ask, is because I looked up the Paladin build for Skyrim SE on Youtube by FudgeMuppet. And the armor that Paladin wear is Steel Plate helmet, gauntlets and boots. If Vigilant Plate Armor counts as Steel Plate, then it will be awesome to play as the Paladin build, yet benefit from the perks that give more extra armor rating. :D

Oh yeah, here's the link to the video I mentioned: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wz-ipmIb0nc

This is excellent. Not only does it have the basic blue robes, but it has three different robes to choose from. I was looking for something that would let me wear some sort of clothing as armor but didn't mess with leveled loot or require me to have the dragon smithing perk, where I'd spend most of the game armored and then suddenly be able to craft armored clothing once my smithing was 100. This fits the bill, has three different robes that can be crafted as armor, and 4 different armor ranks so it can be used from level 1 onward.
Well done, sir.

Should be in leather for leather, steel for steel, etc. Circlets will be under Misc. If you're not seeing them, make sure you have the appropriate perks (and the mod enabled).

what section of the crafting menue are these armors in? i cant find them :/
Carl!!!! 6. feb. 2014 kl. 15:48
Hmm, could've been the other mod then that wasn't working.
Brandybuck  [ophavsmand] 6. feb. 2014 kl. 12:05
zzackmann, my hoods are normal hoods in terms of body location used. They should be compatible with any mod that allows hoods to be worn with circlets/masks.
Carl!!!! 31. dec. 2013 kl. 22:59
Can you make the hoods compatible with other mods allowing for the use of circlets/dragon priest masks to be worn with them?

Nice work. I've always enjoyed the style of the mage robes, and wanted to wear them but could never use them well, being a spellsword and needing armor. This mod solves the problem!

The link should be working now.

Very nice work. The link to your Magus Armor is broken, however. Any chance of a robes version, since these look like normal robes?

Good to know you're back up and fighting the Daedra!
garyriley1982 6. aug. 2012 kl. 23:21
hmm, somthing must have disabled them, as all your mods were in the data folder, but in the game launcher they were unchecked... - thanks for that, wouldnt have thought of that s i use the nexus mod manager for most things!... all the stuffs back as it was.
Brandybuck  [ophavsmand] 6. aug. 2012 kl. 15:46
Hmmm, I haven't changed anything at all in a month. Is the mod still there in your data directory? Does it still show up in the Data Files dialog of the game launcher?

Wierd, i saved my game last night, came home from work today, loaded up, and got an error about the save missing mod info - and my character in full vigilant armour was in his underpants! im using this steam version - has somthing changed or wrong? it was working yesterday...

I'm really digging these mods, Brandybuck. Keep up the good work. :)

I'm not going to make more tiers. It's a lot of work, and I think four tiers per branch is good.
Rialbyeroc 26. juli 2012 kl. 11:07
this is pretty cool. can you make more tiers? like elven and dwarven?
Brandybuck  [ophavsmand] 2. juli 2012 kl. 23:56
Made some minor changes. Remember if you like this to rate it up.
Brandybuck  [ophavsmand] 29. juni 2012 kl. 21:26
Glad you like it Stephen. I'm trying to work up a replacement though. Maybe I'll merge it into this, maybe I'll just replace it. Not sure yet.
Elrofrost 29. juni 2012 kl. 20:52
I like it. I'v ebeen looking for decent heany mage armor that doesn't make me look like a barbarian. Thanks...
Brandybuck  [ophavsmand] 21. juni 2012 kl. 18:13
Reaction to this mod seems rather underwhelming. I'm thinking of starting a new mod to replace this one.
Brandybuck  [ophavsmand] 7. juni 2012 kl. 19:36
The Gilded Wristgards don't work for every frame. Looked fine on my female Breton, but lots of overlaps with my male Nord. I should hopefully have an update this weekend.
Brandybuck  [ophavsmand] 4. juni 2012 kl. 0:26
Yeah, I saw that one. I already have the handwraps almost done, but will consider this one as well.
Araxfell 3. juni 2012 kl. 22:11
Fair enough. By the way, after completing the Dark Brotherhood quests I happened upon these: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Gilded_Wristguards and it occurred to me that they'd make excellent replacements for invisible gloves or the like. I tried them out immediately whilst wearing the Magus set and there was no overlap. You might want to give them a try, they look really good as is.
Brandybuck  [ophavsmand] 3. juni 2012 kl. 13:24
The stats are essentially the same as their normal counterparts. Magus armor is nearly equivalent to dragonscale, for example.

p.s. Still trying to create a handwrap texture that doesn't look like crap. Getting close. I also experimented with invisible gloves, and it seems to work.
Araxfell 3. juni 2012 kl. 4:17
The steel bits and pieces don't seem necessary to me, but perhaps others will enjoy them. I'll watch out for new hand wraps, great idea. If you have the time, maybe you could screenshot the stats of all the Scholar and Vigilant sets so people can see those.
Brandybuck  [ophavsmand] 2. juni 2012 kl. 21:06
I'm getting some gloves done up, a retexture of the shrouded hand wraps. This may result in your current gloves disappearing. I am also tempted to remove the steel plate boots and gauntlets.
Brandybuck  [ophavsmand] 1. juni 2012 kl. 17:51
The amount of overlap depends partly on character build as well. I went through all the gloves and gauntlets, and the only ones that don't overlap are the dark brotherhood hand wraps and the psiijic gloves. Maybe I can retexture them.
Araxfell 30. maj 2012 kl. 23:11
Irritating, isn't it? Invisible gloves sounds like your only option, unless you're into making your own meshes. Good job, though.
Brandybuck  [ophavsmand] 30. maj 2012 kl. 17:39
Hard to fix that overlap, since I didn't create the models, only used what was available in-game. You get the same overlap if you use the college robes and gloves you can buy in the game. I'm tempted to add invisible gloves to solve the problem.

p.s. I notice that there is only ONE kind of normal (clothing) gloves in the entire game. Lots of different boots and hats and outfits, but only one kind of glove.
Araxfell 30. maj 2012 kl. 7:02
I've since tested this mod, and I'd like to congratulate its maker on flawless execution. I have only one small suggestion for improvement in that some items overlap (scholar magus robes and the gloves cross over). That could be fixed, I daresay, and my only request is that you continue to rock, and perhaps pimp out some more robes! Psijic, Greybeard, Master and Expert mage robes ...
Araxfell 30. maj 2012 kl. 4:05
Totally testing this out, this looks awesome. Messaging back with the results at a later date!
