Could you make a "futuristic"buffed version with updated gear?
Chieftain 25. sep. 2016 kl. 8:26
true you do make a good point but its still not as good as yours nore is it as reallistic as yours i mean you even got the camo!! and i will have to check to see if the DW clames have a specific date they want the ship from
WhoopAss_McGue  [ophavsmand] 24. sep. 2016 kl. 23:23
@Chieftain: QE and Warspite were actually quite different during WWII (most notably QE's 6in casemates were removed and dual-purpose turrets installed instead), so there's still reason to upload it! Even if they were identical I'd still say it's worth uploading to show off your handiwork :)

As for the ship being stolen, there was a guy who claimed that I had taken his Warspite and simply re-uploaded it, afaik you can't 'steal' claims to ships for DW.
Chieftain 24. sep. 2016 kl. 15:30
And pandoras kitten you said that the ship was "stolen" would that be from the author stealing the clame??
Chieftain 24. sep. 2016 kl. 15:25
Im a little ticked tbh I clamed the Quean Elisabeth BB for DW and have the ship compleated but just not uploaded Granted I compleated it a wile ago but since then ive been reworking it because of the AI, Block, and Detection update wich has taken some time. but DAM GJ your putting me to shame :steamsad:

Which AA guns are you talking about? The 40mm ones have a tendency to shoot the lifeboats despite them having a failsafe. Their firing contraints prevent them from aiming near the funnel, but allow them to aim at the lifeboats because I figured it's more useful to have them fire over the lifeboats (which they will do), and just accept the occasional damage.

However if you want to fiddle with them the LWC is directly beneath the turret block.
Gantradies 1. sep. 2016 kl. 6:02
err, small issue, the AA turrets have neither restricted Traverse, or a failsafe ( and im unsure of teh locations of teh weaon contorlls to add them) >.>

Thanks! And of course, if you ever need to borrow her feel free to do so :steamhappy:
electricsheep 29. aug. 2016 kl. 14:28
Thank you for the kind confirmation. I will deal with the perpetrator appropriately.

I appreciate your reply and as the master (mistress?) of a certain pre-dreadnought tournament, lovely ship!!!

I might be requesting her to make a star appearance in our 1915 alternate history one day. Let me know if I can hire the ship somehow!
WhoopAss_McGue  [ophavsmand] 29. aug. 2016 kl. 11:42
I am the original author of this ship, there was a guy (jhughes somethingorother) who had also made his own Warspite and claimed I had stolen and reuploaded his. His comments were reported and (presumably) removed by mods. If you download them both you can see that they're quite obviously different.

For proof this is mine there's a couple threads on the FtD forum I made waaaay back in like January asking for help building it. http://www.fromthedepthsgame.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=13766 http://www.fromthedepthsgame.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=13868

Oh I get it now. Someone is claiming other people's ships as his own. I see a trend here. Him reporting other ships ironically allowed me to trace the pattern back to its source.

It would be "unfortunate" for him to lose everything he uploaded, wouldn't it :)

Well let me know who is the original author so I have black and white confirmation this is the real deal, and I will dispatch the forces of the Inquisition upon the foul heretic!
electricsheep 29. aug. 2016 kl. 4:35
Why is there a report on this item as 'stolen' - who actually is the original creator? Both copies uploaded on the same day, 4 Aug.

Looks neat. GJ

@KenMa07

On the main menu click the button on the right that says "Workshop / Editor / Mods"
Click "Vehicle Workshop"
On the little menu in the top left, click "Download Subscriptions"
A list of all subscribed workshop items will appear, you need to click on them and then click "Download", it will ask you where to save the file and you can also rename the file if needed.

Once it's downloaded you can load it into any game you have.

The_Rusty_Geek 13. aug. 2016 kl. 8:11

"Between the Warspite and Yamato, only one of them survived both world wars"

By that logic

My grandpa, who was an AAA crewman at the eastern front

Was a more valuable/better Military asset than the Battleship Yamato xD

Heavier Keel? would that help?
WhoopAss_McGue  [ophavsmand] 11. aug. 2016 kl. 13:39
I think she's at her correct waterline - It may look a little high because I couldn't paint the black line (due to 4m vertical blocks).

Also the ship 'bounces' around in the water a lot. I'll take another look though.
[MPW] ColTeH 🦄 11. aug. 2016 kl. 0:19
Beautiful work though

```Unfortunately the design doesn't play well with FtD's physics and as such I had to add active stabilisation measures as it is very top-heavy thanks to the massive superstructure. Max speed is 7.5m/s in Neter``` Isnt she sitting to far out of the water?
WhoopAss_McGue  [ophavsmand] 10. aug. 2016 kl. 13:56
There's no harm in building your own too if you have fun doing it!
Silfarion 9. aug. 2016 kl. 14:12
@el Boydo Nice :)
@Kiizu Do you mean it's too high? Or it's okay?
zFireWyvern 6. aug. 2016 kl. 4:53
Wow, you're a pretty big guy huh?
iris 5. aug. 2016 kl. 19:29
Sits high above the waterline, which is pretty close to the original model.
Hawkins656 5. aug. 2016 kl. 9:22
dont worry, your not the only guy he's being a **** to. If enough people report him, moderators will have to do something
