I just wanted to say that the response to this quick skin I slapped together has been amazing. Thanks guys!

Since this has been my first foray into making weapon skins, I'm sure I've made a few mistakes. For instance, I don’t know if OVK can even see the most up to date changes I’ve made because of the quirkiness of the workshop (and I’ve made a lot of changes. The original was low res and awful). So I may “republish” another version if enough interest arises.

In the meantime, I think I’m going to be taking a small break from PD2. If someone wants to take the idea behind this skin and expand upon it, or make something similar for other weapon types, they have my permission so long as it adheres to Steam’s and Overkill’s Terms of Service.

Now go pop some helmets for your uncle Slynky :P

the 308 has always held a special place in my heart, no matter how many cool guns I get, I find myself using this gun every once in a while and remembering how amazing it is, now, if I had an M308 that looked like this, I could die happy.

@Blank Gorol I know exactly what you mean about the M308 being overused, and perhaps the damage has something to do with that, but I've always enjoyed it because it reminds me of the M1 Garand.

Despite the fact that I personally find M308 disgustingly overused at the moment, this is pretty damn good skin. Definitely would like to see this in game.

I think it looks way too busy, when I look at the first preview image I don't know what to look at and it just looks like a mess. Even on the other images I find it hard to look at.

@Honey, I nosc0ped the kids! The plan was to include Jaeger as well, but the workshop has some major drawbacks. Even after 100 hours of play in these last 2 weeks, I cannot get the Jaeger body to drop, and I need it in my inventory before I can edit it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hopefully I can push an update in the next few days with Jaeger included.
