The importer is compatible with two textures! You could use the latter of which as the style!

Also must I say - it looks a bit generic though, but like if you guys make it a bit torn-up and a bit fluffy with jigglebones this has to be the best misc for Enggy <3

that's incorrect. Mapping texture materials are really only used for sounds and particles. This glossiness can be easily controlled through phong .vmt settings

The stovepipe looks like a fancier gibus, the doublecross comm looks like the villans veil, the billycock is a spy-only modest, not to mention we have so many caps that look the same. What's your point, commanderbob? Anyway, really nice misc for my favorite and most used class. Only complaint here is that the scarf looks abit glossy. Could you fix that?

when its actually on the engie, the reverse side (the part that is facing the engi) doesn't have the same texture / pattern as the viewable side. may i suggest doing something about that. and it looking a little strechted (the pattern) on the front side. It needs some finishing touches but i think its gonna go far in this game. love the idea, can't believe how good its already looking.
Just that little finishing task and it will be the new mercs pride scarf (for engi) :D

Definitely needs some texture fixing there, the texture is all too obviously distorted. Try redoing the UV map and evenly distributing the proportions of it alike to if the scarf was actually laid out. I also suggest adding some folds to the model (Maybe even just take the original model, add some edge loops and shape it into some folds, and back an AO map with it).
