Regarding your map design, it should have autosave points (otherwise you'll give many test subjects unwanted pain and agony). I also had to strafe radically to reach the entrance from the first rooom with the repulsion gel in it (extend the landing zone for that area, couldn't hurt!). Also, in the room with the moving panels, I was able to walk along the area behind the panels to reach the cube and get back. You should double-check your propotions when the panels move. Given how close they were when expanded, I found myself going up instead of forward, possibly losing control and falling into the deadly goo.
The first puzzle was deceptively simple, but after that it was really cool, and the new elements were pretty intuitive :)
