@Sam_ Could you add vac resistance to nano suites on par with marine/cataphract armours? They cant be used in space now.

PSA for everyone wanting to use this mod as a way to destroy clothes/items/corpses: You can use the Vanilla Vehicles Expanded mod garage door to remotely make a room get to a high temperature instantly. You put the furnaces in a compact room, seperate that room and the disposal room with a garage door, and now the disposal room's temperature will INSTANTLY rise to match the furnace's temperature, and when you close the garage doors the temperature goes back down faster than if you turned off the furnaces

I seemingly fixed my issue. Had to build a second furnace though, which is weird because my previous colony only needed one.

Started a new colony (previous one also used this mod and it worked fine). In my new colony, my furnace isn't heating up high enough to set things on fire (mostly rotted corpses). Its heating up to 180-200c but never any higher which is required to start fires. The only difference with my furnace setup this time, is that its inside a mountain. All of it is indoors.

Just found out the industrial vents in this mod help with black smoke from Combat Extended
Awesome find, glad they work like that (whether or not it was intentional)
I just had a furnace built up, opened two vents and a huge cloud of that annoying black smoke puffed out of them, so here's to hoping I can use it to vent my base in emergencies
Only commenting this in case any one that uses CE needs this fix

i have used the furnace to help dispatch infestation populations.
does anyone know if more than one furnace will help heat the area quicker {or might it be a bad idea}?

Just in case anyone is wondering. This mod works great still. It is a gem. Also, Mlie's mod, linked below, is not a republish of this. That mod just makes the version warning go away for anyone using this mod since it works fine. I am running over 300 mods, this included.

yo @lord asriel try putting a dud wire in the wall next to the one with power and tell it to "re connect" and it will switch between the two

@Rhona Isn't the rollers/furnace incinerator setup so satisfying? How do you activate it by the way? I've used two things, both with power logic: one with a zone switch, which is fully auto but you have to use vents in a nearby room 'cause the switch itself is flammable. The other, simpler, is to just fire up the incinerator at light level <50%.

So it DOES work on 1.3! Ahh, so glad. One of the most useful mods ever. Period. Together with Industrial Rollers you can set up the easiest, smoothest discarding facility in all of Rimworld. I'm curious though - does the 'rotate' option work for other users? My furnace is fixed with its output facing down.

Also for people who want more technical information:
- Requires fairly simple mid-tier research
- Furnace costs 165 Steel, 8 Components, & 150 stone blocks of some variant
- Furnace costs 1000W to run and always runs at full power (no target temp control)
- Mod also adds a non-flammable vent

In terms of raw power it's much more efficient than regular heaters but due to the lack of control I imagine it's pretty hard to use for normal heating without burning your base down accidentally.

Mod works without problems in 1.3, heat output and power draw are here, no graphical weirdness with textures. Don't have the DLCs to test with but can't imagine that there will be any problems.
