The mod works FINE. Ignore the errors. As a mod maker, I can tell you that the errors are usually just bullshit, and in this case they are for sure.

The mod works, all you have to do is start a game, go to options for the mod, select vanilla, and then select your road theme. I just did it, and the mod works 100%. So ignore whatever BS Compatibility Report and Paradox tell you, the mod works great. I personally use RoadsUnited: North America PLUS as my go to road theme.

So no update is needed!

People, the mod still works, its just a bit funky how you have to get Roads United texture packs to work.
Goto your settings, Roads United, and select another Road Theme and than go back to the one you Want, it should take a moment for the menu to register that and you should see your roads change in the background if you have any.

why does it say 'incompatable with cities skylines'?

The mod just fucking died

My roads always got bugs when I activated the Relight mod, after searching for a solution I saw the incompatible warning and turned off this mod and got all fixed.

I see not european streets only standard from game (sunset harbor release)

This still works. I have been using it for years. The only thing i know of that wont work is you wont recieve money from toll booths. You have to change the settings to vanilla and back to us reworked everytime you load the game.

For anyone having problems with this and TMPE, go to the Roads United Core+ settings and turn the road theme back to vanilla, then back to your chosen Roads United theme.

@MaximusSupremus Roads United+ is a mod that resurfaces your vanilla street and Network Extension Mod with pack from other content creators. You can dramatically change of the look for your cities with it as a result. There are some packs from the United States and North America, Universal Europe ,Germany, and the Netherlands to use with this mod.

Works fine for me. Just have to switch your texture pack to vanilla and back before or after loading your save. And I think the only conflict with TM:PE is that toll roads won't give you the tolls.
