Some may find this easy. I didn't.

Nice one :)

That is one of the most difficult puzzles I've played.
@p0rtalthumper it can be solved without placing portals in mid-air. Here is how: https://youtu.be/H7vvaKgvycs

Instead of what p0rtalmaster had to do, allow more room to land next to the aerial faith plate. The puzzle will still be difficult to find the solution you intend the player to find, but now execution will be loads easier. Also take Prototype's advice.

Other than those recommended map changes, very good puzzle! Favorited.

Aesthetically very good, although as sekti says, the portal surface on the ceiling could really use a light. The puzzle is definitely challenging. Here's my solution (which doesn't require any mid air shooting): https://youtu.be/3CUGsKill78

OK, I now know why this test seems sooo difficult: you have to place a portal while in mid air, and so reflexes as well as precision is required...

very cool photos

Definitely 10/10 for difficulty, at least...

I had to come back to solve this one. That means it's a stumper...

There is a portable surface on that ceiling?! In the darkest corner of the chamber? Oh, my. Good news is, I found a solution that does not require this surface, bad news is, that this solution is somewhat ugly I used that upon the destruction of portals objects are moved out of them which allowed me to put the cube on the button that way when flying through the fizzler (note that I cannot use the hard light bridge, because I had to switch it off before). So if you want to do people like me a favour, light that portable surface or make in a different way apparent that it is there. Other than that, excellent map!

This map is amazing, one of the best I've played!

excellent map, truly 'thinking with portals'. Difficult, but possible. This could almost be a level straight from the campaign. 10/10!

Wow. Great map, really has a lot of effort put into. Agreed with all the comments below, and made this my first favorite map <3

That was a very hard one , i have spend betwin 2 and 3 hour to search and i finally look the walkthrough. i was so close , i was in front of the close door and i can't find the way to get the cube away of the button. It was the first map ever where i look the walkthrough.
Congretualition !

Difficulty 9/10
Fun 7/10

One of the most challenging maps I have played so far. Unfortunately maps that include the "destroyed style" often includes small narrow routes or hiding spots for items. The "too many variables" section was unnecessary and just added confusion, not more challenge.

Loved this map. Simply due to the comments by toncica I did not look at the solution and spend 30 minutes trying to find the answer. Where I got stuck was how to get to the exit area (where you land from the trust fling) while keeping the box on the button.
Had to use noclip to look around the map to find the solution (not to solve the puzzle, to find out how to do it), but I managed to do it without looking at the solution.
Have to say, beautiful (both the puzzle and the map).

Beautiful map but way too easy.Should not pose a problem even for absolute beginners. ;)

The walkthrough video will probably get some serious hits. When released on thinkingwithportals.com this was the very first map that crushed me. Never before had I given up or looked up a solution but Magrathea took all of my pride away. Even now as I played it again my heart was pounding because all of the psychological pain was present again. I don't think that more than 2-3% of the current players will solve this test on their own.
