Find XComScanningProtocolConfig.ini in the mod folder. Open it and change the value. Here is the file:
[ScanningRadius.X2AmbientNarrativeCriteria_ScanningRadius]
; Battlescanner Range is 28 Radius 12 in original game settings.
SCANNING_PROTOCOL_RADIUS = 18.0f
You can thus make it as big as Battlescanners if you put 28.0f
You'd need to compile the entire thing. However this just overrides scanning, its probably WOTC compliant? Or was it when i couldnt code properly? Yeah its 2016 its pretty old
You'll need the SDK for that, you're basically creating your own mod. It's not something that could be done by simply editing text files.
