@y4wgmoth: I left them without smoke as the smoke markers in the game are way smaller than this smoke stack, so it just looked silly. Adding several didn't look right either.

Any chance on adding smoke to these? I'd be fine with thick black smoke.

Or I guess running steam in offline mode when playing C:S might work too. That way you could set it online once a day/week and get updates.

Evil.Iguana: Bundling them would force everyone to get all, which I don't want. Your problem seems to be connected to the workshop, so I'd suggest you move some of your most used assets (growables or other things that aren't likely to get updated) from the workshop folder to your local asset folder and then unsub. That should get you around the issues with retrieving data from the workshop. Let me know if you need a path to find those folders. :)

I'd love it if you could bundle these together in a single workshop item. For many people going a la carte lets them save memory, but for me the limitation is max workshop subscriptions. I'm right below the level where it causes the game to start crashing in the menu and subscribing to everything would put me over that limit.

Well, 500 is the realistic amount. You can change it in the RICO settings if you want. You can also just place it and wait for it to fill up. It might complain, but it can't get abandoned. You can also wait to place it until you have alot of unemployed people.
