If by control you mean the view point on the boat then it stays the same no matter what you build in the boat.

I've built the mechanized bench and put all the components in it but the build tile wont light up. Do I need to place a blueprint in the bench also?

Oh, in that case, that would explain it. I was having trouble fitting enough foundations on it so I overlapped the last row. Thanks for the response.

Very puzzling im not seeing the problem on my singleplayer, are the structures from another mod? Usally the jerkyness is caused by 2 objects overlapping (the quetz platform sometimes has that problem), so replacing the strutures might fix it.

After several tries I got it to work, part of the problem was I couldnt find the inventory of the ship so I assumed it just drew from my inventory. I got over that though. Now whenever I walk on the ship though, I... Its kinda hard to explain, but I kinda move really jerkily and move at around half speed. Its not game-breaking or anything but it is kinda annoying. It only happens when I'm moving on structure placed on the raft though (and oddly enough, "not" when I'm standing on the table or bench I put down)

Did you put gas in the inventory and did it consume gas when you tryed to move? Also make sure the propeller is not blocked as that is the part of the boat that collides with things

I just built a metal raft and built a bunch of things on it, but every time I try to move it it just teleports backwards into the same place, so its stuck where I put it.

T rex shouldn't be able to do damage so I'll look into fixing that. The structures separating is a glitch in unmodded ark with all platforms. Usally reloading fixes it otherwise if on server wait for restart, if on single player verify client integrity in steam library. Wish I could fix it for you but I don't have access to the source code.

Conflict solved! Stack plus recreates gas so the raft didn't recognize it, now it will.

So you place gas in inventory, try to move the raft, and the gas is not consumed so the raft stays encumbered, correct? I didn't find any problems with the volcano map are you running any other mods?

Hello guys, i have some issue with this mod. Im playing on Volcano map (id mod : 715028562). I build a Metal Raft, placed him on the water, and i cant use gas. Someone have the same issue ?

Everything is working for me. Is the rudder arena clear? Does it have the encumbered effect? And are you running any other mods? If so I'll test with those mods and fix any conflicts.

It also can happen with vanilla structures actually. It's a glitch where the client think it can be placed, but the servers says no. You have to play with it, come from a different angle, take out nearby walls as last measure, but you will eventually be able to place it (otherwise the client would not have seen it as placeableto begin with).

I'm running into an issue placing the work bench. I have the work bench crafted already and in my inventory; go to put it down area turns green, hit the button to place and it clicks but does not place and the station ends up staying in my inventory. Any thoughts on what is wrong?

Actually the leedsitchys can't damage even thatch. The reason it destroys properly built boats currently is because it bites rafts through structures instead of working its way through said structures. A dev has confirmed that this is a bug, and that the intended behaviour is for the leedsitchys.

A more long-term reason i see the metal armor on this raft useful is the bug that damages the invisible mast, even by swinging metal tools where the sail should be, sinking wooden rafts in the process. Old bug...

Yes the raft has metal armor type making the titanosaur the only dino that does damage

is this raft impervious to the Leedsichthys?

The raft is paralyzed when out of gas, this is to make it more realistic and make carelessness cause problems. Someone else also suggested the custom zoom and I'll look into that. Eventually this mod will have a rotating piston which will be able to move walls like a door to make everything from gates to deployable ramps which can be built on the raft.

Reason i'm pointing this out is to give dear author some ideas, if not already implemented. ;)
(Yes, i have not been able to test the mod yet, as my computer is still down until i can replace parts). I believe, however, a **metal armored** raft has a lot of potential. ;)

One question : what happens if it runs out of gas ? is it paralyzed completly, or can it still move at regular raft speed ?

Given the metal raft has a structure (and size i take it) limit increase compared to vanilla wooden raft, i take it you can make big ass boats, like with most raft mods. But the 2 issues with most of them is that no behemoth allowed on patforms and when you build your boat a bit high, you end up blocking your view. Big Raft solves the first problem by introducing its own metal behemoth gate that can be put on platforms (handy for its hudge ass "barge"), while Advanced Rafts introduces the camera customization to its rafts' option menus, allowing you to move the default driving camera away from the boat and have a clear view again.

I'm level 99 and when I try and craft the boat in the workbench it won't do so. I have all the items required to craft and it highlights like I can but I still can't craft it. Is this for a specific Ark?

There is no way to costomize the limits for each person unfortunately, but the range is limited by foundation support if you have a way around that I can increase the limit on the raft. Repairing should work the same as wooden raft through the e menu.

is there anyway to edit the height limit / range limit / unit limit? I want to make an aircraft carrier. as well as snap foundation to make it centered?
