Camper spotted, some players use boomstick to jump up the "Giant Presents" near the mansion.

none of the custom textures are loading for me or any of my friends, is there a fix for this that I'm missing or something, I love the map and play it without them anyway. Just want to see it in all of it's glory

There is a spot where zeds get suck under the map. Its in the middle of the tunnel, in the middle of the map. Please take a look into moving the spawn, so they one cant get pushed under the map when alot spawn together.

I've been on both sides of the fence, I was once a "level designer" for a game company and know how much work goes in just for one level of a map, the textures, the models, the animations, etc... Having multiple versions of what work has been created is a bonus for the author... Now that I'm an admin running the server side, I understand your pain, I too have to deal with the name changes and I just try to go with the flow... The beautiful thing of this community is how fast these authors crank out awesome maps and the gameplay is unbelievable... You authors in this community should pat yourself on the back for the amount of details you bring forth, it's crazy... I support you authors by giving you a place where you can showoff your skills and what you create, with my fellow server admins.... :steamhappy:

I'm sorry if I came off as rude. I think it’s a valid concern for map makers to be aware of. They can do what they wish with it, as you say. In my opinion, the whole point of the steam workshop is for them to be able to push out updates automatically.

A lot of people complain of map file consistency errors due to the reason I stated previously.

As for backing up different versions of the map, you can do that separately from what you upload to the workshop.

Being a map maker/modder is hard enough, sometimes the author needs to change the name to keep track of the changes being made and/or have something to fall back on if anything does go wrong... Keeping the name the same overrides previous work and could delete valuable information needed to keep the map going... Quite frankly, the map maker/author/modder's job is to make maps, if they want to change names, that is their right...

You signed up to be a server admin(like us), so your job is to make sure the server is running, regardless of what the map maker/author does... If it crashes the server, well, then it needs to be corrected on the server admin side, not the author's side...

Stop trying to force the authors to comply what you want, the burden is on you to make your "servers" work... :steammocking:

PLEASE Do not change the map name. Servers crash when you try to load a map that does not exist (Because you changed it ). Please keep the name the same!

Thank you for taking your time.
I watched the video.It looks like it's working as it's intended.
I made it less noticeable so no one gets annoyed by a loud music that can not be turned off.
But maybe I did too much?
I'll turn it up a little bit in the next update which I have to do anyway since I found some glitches

As you can see/hear, when I turned up the ’SFX’ volume, then the other sound effect had turned up as well and they were too loud at me. :sadgrim:

It's okay.I'll go ahead turn up sound volume a little bit in the next update.
But they are already a decent level for me.(My SFX volume is set to default.)
If I were to turn it up too much that sounds decent for someone,it can be too loud for others.

If the 'SFX' sounds are also the explosions (Patriarch's rockets, grenades, etc) , then they are already at the suitable level for me.
Please, let me know if I know wrong. And I can make a video record of it if you like. I have Fraps and a YouTube channel and you can see my settings and hear the sounds in there.

Maybe the volume of the music can vary depending on the sound setting you are playing with.
Turning up SFX volume should make it more audible.
Or should I tweak the sound file ?

I would like to make a large map at some point in the future.
But I personally prefer small and simple maps to play.
And one of the reason I'm not making a large map is that it involves lots of lots of works to do
especially bug fixes.
I'm not in the mood to do it at the moment:steamsad:

Sure I'm adding the music with the train fix.
I guess It's gonna be alright to use the music as I have listened the music in one of those custom maps before too.
Even though It'll be just a ambient sound because there is not a way to replace the ingame music itself at the moment.(from what I know)

I checked the map and it looks like the train is moving off the bridge as time goes on which is not
what I intended it to be.
I didn't notice it as I tested it on single player with only four waves.
I'll fix this soon.

Yes, I was confused and my personal opinion is that you should extend the bridge and bring the bus onto it, or bring the bridge to under the bus. Which you would prefer. :boomer:

But, I’m just one person, I suggest change the map and check it by personally. If you like the change, then upload it. If you not, then no upload it.

Or if you can’t decide, which would be better, then wait for more feedbacks, or ask your friends/mates to check it and think about my idea and let you know which would be better.

I made it in that way on purpose so it looks like a santa flys in the sky on the sleigh(train car in his case).
The bridge is actually ended from that point he goes into the sky.
But I can extend the bridge if it distracts you much.

Nice map. It would be good as a Christmas map with an Xmas music.

I found one sort of glitch;
:yellowbeat: The Christmas bus moved next to the bridge instead of on the bridge.
(Or if you made it like this, then it would better for me if it had been moving on the bridge. What do you think?)
