Well, the Vampires did use them for food but they didn't abuse them and not all those used as food were even killed. It was pretty much like taxes... with blood. Other than that, the peasants were safeguarded as Vlad saw them as subjects and not just food and he did want to rule.
Azaghal 7. aug. 2021 kl. 0:58
Funny thing is, the Sylvanian peasantry is pretty loyal to the von Carsteins.
They paid lower taxes and were left alone, so when Styrland held Sylvania for a time and the Vampires came back the peasants actually supported the Vampires over the living Nobility.
Tiggy Skibbles 22. juni 2021 kl. 1:21
Can we get a Warhammer 2 version please?
Bran Mak Morn 31. mar. 2019 kl. 12:43
Sorry to spam, but could you also make a skin modification to add variation and make some individuals look, blue/vampiric.
Bran Mak Morn 31. mar. 2019 kl. 12:42
Yeah, add peasant units like dreg's and brawler's with little armor and maybe even a barbaric tribal melee unit.
Sor Hugh 30. okt. 2018 kl. 17:41
Why so? I'd love to field your units alongside the new Von Carstein crossbowman. If you could add them just for that bloodline then it would be perfect!
Cataph  [ophavsmand] 30. okt. 2018 kl. 1:00
The VC rework is actually why this would not 100% fit anymore.
Sor Hugh 29. okt. 2018 kl. 18:49
Could we get this for WH2? Pretty please! Would work great with the coming VC rework!
Mumion der Unsterbliche 28. aug. 2018 kl. 22:35
WH 2 Version ?
Jabbalamut 9. aug. 2018 kl. 16:38
Is this going to be moved to mortal empires or no?
gangbear777 19. juli 2018 kl. 0:55
This mod enhances vampire world with reality. As vampire count fan, I love it!
Skellyman 26. dec. 2017 kl. 15:37
I'm also hopeful that you'll port this over to mortal empires.
Cataph  [ophavsmand] 29. okt. 2017 kl. 4:23
Maybe.
V 29. okt. 2017 kl. 3:40
Will this mod get updated for mortal empires?
Xagyg 29. sep. 2017 kl. 3:51
Thank you Cataph!
Cataph  [ophavsmand] 4. aug. 2017 kl. 5:38
No way, they have their own unit balance.
Rys 4. aug. 2017 kl. 5:31
would this perhaps be compatible with SFO?
Cataph  [ophavsmand] 18. juli 2017 kl. 5:13
Nope, pretty sure they're included in specific mods about Mousie.
Pablets 18. juli 2017 kl. 4:47
Mousillon also got humans with this mod?
jamie_van 3. juli 2017 kl. 0:32
A ranged Unit?! So Beautiful I'd almost forgetten what they looked like.
Aleksei 1. maj 2017 kl. 23:31
@ Sylvania is still dejure part of Empire. Its historically part of County Stirland. Which is reasons why Vlad and Mannfred see them as rightfull Elector Counts of Stirland. So people living in Sylvania are mostly same people as other places in empire. Reason why Grace Guard and Skeletons have archaich equiptment is simple. They are ancient dead ressurrected from graves. They use ancient equipment because of that.
Yeto 29. mar. 2017 kl. 11:49
Hey love your mod !! could be possible add some equipment similar of the skeletons and the heavy guard? they seems quite Imperial, just to give them a sylvanish touch
Predatory EULA 12. mar. 2017 kl. 10:24
Yes! Please do make a Mousillon version. Even if you just reskin them.
NoSkill 3. mar. 2017 kl. 13:00
I feel dumb now :(
Cataph  [ophavsmand] 3. mar. 2017 kl. 12:52
@NoSkill
Description, second row.
NoSkill 3. mar. 2017 kl. 11:43
Are you adding those to the von Carstein faction?
t42bug 28. feb. 2017 kl. 18:23
Any chance for Musslion to get bretonnian flavored equivilants for custom battle?
Cataph  [ophavsmand] 28. feb. 2017 kl. 14:59
Yep, updated for custom battle now.
Chiron 28. feb. 2017 kl. 14:52
so are the von carsteins faction getting levy love too?
Theobald 20. feb. 2017 kl. 8:01
How about making them a Von Carstein feature in the next update ? (So Vlad have them but Mannfred doesn't - more lore-ish)
Great mod in any case. ^^
Sean 14. feb. 2017 kl. 1:32
Trigger Warnings for problematic content plz
Cataph  [ophavsmand] 14. feb. 2017 kl. 1:22
1. Ever considered how high their desertion rate would be with the right chance?

I could stop that with just one line, but I found that funny.

2. Meh, "never" is a big word, I have seen them. With how ridiculously cheap skellies are you can't blame them.

Sorry but I am a bit triggered by "problematic delivery", to be honest.
Sean 9. feb. 2017 kl. 3:15
If I can make a suggestion, perhaps Halberds should be included too. The Sylvanians, during the Vampire Wars, had access to a unit of mortal soldiers called the "Drakhof Halberdiers"
These may be better as a regiment of renown being an elite guard unit though.
Lawaern 6. feb. 2017 kl. 16:58
This mod is great, although your reasoning is a bit off, Vlad is indeed like that, but mannfred, while having the same ambition, is more inclined to strut his stuff magic wise, and thus more undead. This is from the lore, I have the books. So great mod especially the levy idea, these are militia and cannonfodder, not pro soldiers.
Corrax88 24. jan. 2017 kl. 4:42
Can you make a version without the huntsmen and maybe crossbowmen instead.
Serephiel 13. jan. 2017 kl. 4:43
Awesome mod! Any chance of adding some crossbowmen though? And maybe a unit of heavy infantry at t5?
NoSkill 24. dec. 2016 kl. 15:10
No Drakenhof-Helbardiers :/

nevertheless a fantastic mod, keep up your good work
timbearly 22. dec. 2016 kl. 16:36
I love this mod but my human levies suffer attrition when walking on uncorrupted soil... What's up with that?
Cataph  [ophavsmand] 15. dec. 2016 kl. 1:40
Added a FAQ.
FirstintoHell 14. dec. 2016 kl. 21:56
Vlad did use living troops in the first Vampire war so yes this gets the lore accurate stamp of approval :)

also, drakenhof halberdiers? please?
Cataph  [ophavsmand] 8. dec. 2016 kl. 11:30
Updated.
The Running Man 5. dec. 2016 kl. 8:51
Have you thought of adding a blood dragon to the shields? that would be neat...the thing is they look to imperial
Cataph  [ophavsmand] 5. dec. 2016 kl. 8:17
Uhm, I literally answered that three comments ago. Of course I won't ask people to read 28 pages, but...
The Running Man 5. dec. 2016 kl. 7:41
Have you considered reskinning the infantry to a more rugged, dirty disorganized type of army? kinda like you did with the huntsmen...they are not profesional soldiers after all...give them a bunch of shields and different armor and weapons
Cataph  [ophavsmand] 1. dec. 2016 kl. 4:30
UPDATE: Quick tweak to prevent Mousillon from having this stuff. Their own filthy peasants will come a bit later when I have time to balance their Ld.

@Blackt1grs not really. This mod is not about elite and renown units.
Blackt1gers 30. nov. 2016 kl. 12:08
will you ever be adding a knightly order to this mod to represent the drakenhof templars?
Cataph  [ophavsmand] 30. nov. 2016 kl. 10:32
@Darth Alpharius: uhh maaaaybe? dunno, too much time for something that I don't think is 100% necessary, I reckon the VC still like decent looking uniforms on their subjects as the other guy ('cept for skellies but they don't count).

@Raven: yeah yeah yeah, I actually answered that many times, I just forget to redo those permissions. This mod was done well before anything appeared for Mousillon, so it was just another placeholder at the time.
Raven 30. nov. 2016 kl. 9:57
I wonder, would it be better to use Bretonnian infantry units as a base for Sylvanian peasant levies? Might fit the theme you're going for a bit better.
Darth Alpharius 13. nov. 2016 kl. 8:55
Any Chance you could make them look more like Peasants Then State Troops!
The Questing Truck 6. nov. 2016 kl. 10:50
Ah ok. I really wasnt into the Vampire counts that much. When the Tomb Kings and Count armies were combined into one book I tended to favor the Tomb King stuff more than the Count stuff so I never really thought about Human levies. Skeletons, Mummies, and Ghosts for me :) Tomb Kings can't come fast enough for me.
