Honestly, I do not think the bots are too much of a problem. Just use the really large warehouse, one huge energy tower, one huge solar panel and windmill, one large watertower, five to six airlocks connected to the warehouse and one or two big oxygen generators attached to the warehouse. Getting the placement right can be tricky and figuring out wich buildings to prioritise can be a toughy as well, but it is totally possible to safe them all.

too many bot dud it not fun

I like bots but 50 bots to 45 people is too many. Also, bots run faster than people and they tend to fill up all the entrances immedeatly and then your people die in droves from lack of oxygen. I mean, why is the drillbots running to get into the base? I lost 22 people the last time I played as they had to wait to get inside, and I had five entrances.

Nice mod. Easy way to start the base is build 3 Oxygen generators, 3 entrances, and enough water & power. Don't rely on one entrance only because robots will screw everyone by going in first. (Simple rule: Multiple entrances, multiple oxygen generators, enough power & water)

i died of no oxygen yet i had a large oxygen gen wth happened

Building the base is too hard because of all the robots that go inside and block the astronaut's priority, you need to lessen the amount of robots.

Seriously... has ANYONE reached 1000 colonists? I'm at 858, and I've just had 27 intruder ships IN A ROW!!!! I'm about to give this up as a Kobayashi Maru unless someone can give me hope. I would delete it in disgust if the beginning wasn't so much fun. This challange and Paradise are the only two boxes that I have unchecked, and I would very much like to check this one.

Now I tiered to do this using an XML editor but the did not work and then I read that you were looking to up-loaed the scripts for this map, have you do that and if so were can I find them as I would like to edit this map and biuld so new ones.

i deleated the spaceship and i still had 2091 FPS and my PC runs at 5K fps

Pro Tip: Be sure to save the game after colonists left the space ship. It will save you lots of time... :)

Has anyone EVER reached 1000 colonists? At around 700 the colonist ships are few and far between - even at "excellent." AND... every second or third ship is filled with 7 - 10 armed intruders. I highly doubt that 1000 is achievable without playing continuously for months.

I've had problems with missing challenges too. It solved itself after some steam update. Maybe a coincidence, I don't know.

well, i might post the scripts for punlic use as ive stopped working on this, since the game is dead, so all youd need to do is make a copy of the html and modify some numbers to your liking, i might pas this on to some other devs too.

I do have to worry, it kills my medical supplies and my engineers die so the robots are slowly picked off. Colony ships REFUSE to show up so im completely screwed in the end with about 7-10 colonists left.

they are for redundancy so you dont have to worry about them.

Everyone dies of no air before you can even build what is required to create a sustainable building filled of air.
