2018 prison arcitect is best version since paradox has ruined this game now EVERYONE SHOULD USE THE BETA 2018 ANNIVERSEY EDITION

I can't reproduce, both the 2018 and Rock versions of the game seem to spawn stuff correctly from the garden pots and shed. So where do you get those pillars from? Perhaps it's another mod interfering, in which case putting this one on top of it will fix it.

I'm getting a non stop shipment of fertilizer it gets paid for does not stop and leaves the map and on cases when it does stop no one gets it and it leaves with the stuff, what am I doing wrong?

You mean that you either didn't build a recycling room where garbage gets brought to, or that another mod is loaded on top, which is messing things up.

This mod broke the garbage collection AI component of my workmen in my game as the garbage would be left sitting around the prison instead of being collected.

yeah the garden produces an item labeled "none" for a while but then starts making the goods, was it supposed to make a waste product of some type?

Hey buddy! LOVE this mod! I'm not sure if anyone is having this problem. I'm getting a "my logo" error window that comes up when placing the recycling table. It looks like a command prompt window. The only way it goes away is if I restart or delete the table. Thanks for this!

@murgh They just translated the description of the mod into Chinese.

@DarkHulk I just checked: with only this mod enabled the Ingredients pots are producing ingredients, and not None. You might have a mod conflict. As for the uniforms, just turn off uniform spawning at the recycle desk if you got too many. Same for all other objects which are produced.

I think this mode cause some problem with uniforms, I got high demand of them, laundry didn't help.

And 'ingredients pot' make a lot of 'nothing' items, with are next put in storage

Stock bins ar not used for a reason. Garbage isn't as moddable as I'd like and the normal bins gave problems, so I had to work around. The garbage area isn't useless at all, btw It needs a trash compactor and is also the room where janitors idle when they have nothing to do. Leaving the Garbage area away results in workmen and Janitors starting to idle outside the prison, which nobody wants. Unfortunately he recycled garbage can't go to the Garbage area and needs to leave via Exports, also due to some hard coded non moddable stuff. I tried to let it just go to Garbage at first, but then the trucks would not pick it up. They only pick it up from Exports and no other room. So that was a problem... Hope you can understand now that this mod makes the best of what's possible regarding to modding garbage, and why some things work different than one would like.

Hi Murgh I like this mod it's great, I just have one problem there is litterally no point in stock bins so all that moeny put into them is useless? Also it would be nice that the recycled garbage just went to garbage rather than exports otherwise this mod just makes a garbage room pointless also please make the stock bins where unsorted garbage goes and not the trash bins. Mod update:
- Adjusted the Shed to be compatible with PA Update 15, it started spawning staff food instead of bacon and eggs
- Fixed bug in garden control regarding setting the Harvest Hours.

There is an updated recyling available in my combipack 15 mod which uses GardenWorkers (modded staff doing jobs) and other new features. But since those features are only compatible with PA Update 14 and above, they won't get implemented in this mod. I will release a Recycling 2.0 as separate mod instead somewhere in future.

Stuff already at Garbage zone will not be brought back, so you got to sell those bags manually.

So the sorted Garbage goes to a Garbage Zone with a Trash Compactor so far so clear, but why is no one coming to pick it up? My sorted garbage just piles up in my Garbage Zone

Advised set up in the average prison:

- 1 TrashBin (10 bags) in a small Kitchen (or 20 in medium, 30 in large kitchen)
- 1 TrashBin in Recycling (10, 20 or 30 bags, depending on prison size)
- 1 TrashBin (10 bags) in any area where garbage is produced, like a Garden or Cemetery

- 1 Trash Compactor in either Recycling or Garbage area

- 2 Recycling Desks in the Recycling room
- 2 Small wooden tables in Recycling room

This should be more than plenty to deal with the garbage in prisons up to 500 inmates.
If you place more TrashBins, then the garbage will be split over more objects, so it will take longer for each TrashBin to fill up and get recycled. TrashBins work like a buffer for your Recycling room.


Place as many default Bins from the game if you wish.
They are just eyecandy now and never collect UnsortedGarbage.

Garbage area only needs to hold the Trash Compactor.
No other garbage is stored there, so it can be a small room.

Sounds like either some interfering mod, or you didn't place required items for the garbage chain to work properly.

Hello there, I'm having issues where the Unsorted Trash doesn't move anywhere.. In the end I have to manually sell them at 0$ and wasting my time clicking them. I already had Trash Bins (30 bags) placed all around the Prison tho. Janitor Workman and Gardener are all doing nothing.

Sorted garbage goes to a Trash Compactor, not the garbage zone, read above :)
Garbage zone might still be needed to allow janitors and others to roam around when idle.
When you remove it, they would roam outside the prison instead.

My sorted garabge isn't being moved to exports, it's just sitting on the recycling desk. Also, does this make the garbage zone unecessary?

The spawner from the menu just spawns the table for you, nothing else. I have no idea why it won't do that.

Ingredients can't be made sellable, because if they are delivered then the truck would just drive on since it's exports.

Simply don't put so many garden pots producing ingredients then? You should find the right balance, instead of just placing tons of pots which produce way too many for your likings :)

Can you maybe make it so that any cabbage and potatoes that the kitchen doesn`t need get`s send to export for a lower price compared to the roses and such? I have so many that I cannot see the floor.

Im having a problem, unsorted trash bags are being put in cells for some reason, works keep going to cells and unsorted trash is slowly building up in some cells, I have trash bins everywhere.

My compactors aren't working and I have MASSIVE stacks of garbage in my recycling room. Please send help.

Figured it out, it's because it was in a high sec only area. Should someone in high sec want to do it do you think the program will auto update and allow them?

I'm getting all rooms booked when I am trying to set up the program for recycling, not sure why this is for the life of me, any ideas?

That would be a bad idea: when there are a lot of default bins placed, this would mean that garbage gets distributed to way too many TrashBins, resulting in your recycling room not getting fed with garbage like you would expect (the buffer would simply be very large before it arrives there). You will only need a few, as explained below, since garbage gets compacted a lot before it leaves by truck.

How about a system that converts vanilla bins into this mod's trash bins?
Instead of having to change every place manually.

Well you could edit the productions.txt and remove other workers from the recycledesk processor.
Adding a prisoner-only recycledesk might lead to unforseen issues, so I stay away from implementing that.
