Love this mod, any chance of an update for the new Ragnarok map?

I apologize for my ignorance on the topic, but I don't really have much experience with servers, Linux or Windows, so I'm afraid I'm unable to answer the question myself.

im running a server on Akliz.net , they run linux servers, i tried to put this mod in there and it added it when i was loading into the server, but no engrams for it popped up

Titanosaurs have to be knocked out via launching cannonballs onto their head until they go out
same process as taming a karkinos or rock elemental just on a much bigger scale

can you make the rifle take a scope? it unrealistic to not be able to put a scope on a tranq rifle. id even be ok with a second rifle that is maybe half your super tranq but can take a scope.

I know that but someone wanted to know if this rifle would tame one. So i logged on and made a Super Tranq Rifle and went hunting and then reported what i seen.

@spirit3057 Rock golems need to be shot with cannon balls or rpg's to gain torpor. I could be wrong since I have never tamed one but I've seen videos of others using it to tame creatures like that.

To be honest, i used a mod to upgrade my rifle to 678% damage so that may be why i did some damage to the rock golems. Main thing to know is even tho some damage was done to the rock golems, no torpor was given to the two rock golems i tried it on.

Don't worry about any update right now. Irate gamers need to understand Real Life takes precedence over any game update.When an update comes out, something else will pop up claiming the mod does not tranq something yet again.

@Spirit3057, Thanks for the info. I didn't even realize it would damage it at all. But you are 100% correct that it will not tranq a Rock Golem. That takes a cannon ball normally from what I understand and for a while I thought I might have time to create some sort of "cannon ball" ammo mod for the rifle to make that work. But, life and work happened, so I've not had time to even play the game for quite a long time, let alone work on mods. :-/ My kids are the only ones who've been playing Ark in my house for the last few years. :-)

@Sordros, what kind of update are you looking for? As far as I'm aware it's still functioning as originally designed. If an update breaks it, as long as someone lets me know then I'll certainly try to fix it. I've talked about making an ammo type for golems as stated above, but have not had any time to work on the idea.

To any who may wonder, the Super Tranq Rifle will hit a Rock Golem and will do some damage(3 per shot) but 0(NO) torpor at all. Please put that question to rest asking if the rifle will tranq a Rock Golem. It will NOT.

@Mr.Grey, Thank you for the clarification. I did a little research last night and that mod was about all I was finding that looked relevant. Regarding your question about overriding torpor values in the .ini file, I'm afraid I don't personally know how to do that. I did take a look through all the comments and discussions here and I found that several people have asked that same question over the life of this mod but I did not see replies from anyone with instructions for how to do it. :-/

@TheBlakDrag0n They are the dinos from the Primal Fear mod and its child mods,(primal bosses...etc) . Some of the higher tier dino's have 500+ Million Torpor.

Rock golem's do require a cannon to tame so doubtful if the dart will do anything but get the big hunk of rock upset, so if you do try to tranq one, be ready to RUN.

@Snowcherub, I haven't updated the mod in quite some time but I think it still works the same in the game as long as something else isn't overriding it. I know some people have set options via scripts so could a script on your server have been changed maybe? I've never worked with those myself so I'm not sure.

@WishYouWasMe, I tried to make this happen in the early days of the mod but was never able to figure it out. Best I can tell, the mod only works for things that were already vulnerable to tranq darts. I think the rock golems have to be hit by a cannon or something? So they seem to be invulnerable. I think some of the "bugs" were/are also invulnerable, as well as a whole list of other things I'm sure.

One of these days if I can ever find the time again, I do want to either find a way to fix the invulnerability issue or create another mod that can pickup that slack. Maybe a super-heavy bullet that packs the punch of a cannon ball for rock golems? LOL :-D
