@Rellana1: It should fire immediately after pressing the diplo action button. You could try unsubbing and resubbing, if that doesnt work there might be an incompatibility with Anbennar. You could try moving the mods in the playset, although I dont think that does anything. Alternatively you could try opening the .mod file of this mod with notepad and add Anbennar as dependency by adding dependencies={ "Anbennar: A Fantasy Total Conversion" } to the file. You can find the file in the folder of the mod (so the folder where EU4 mods are installed from steam and then the ID from the link of this mod) as well as in your documents EU4 mod folder where it is ugc_ followed by the ID of the mod. You may have to edit both those files.

How quickly is the event supposed to fire to choose the province I wish to purchase? Because I clicked the buy a province button and nothing seems to be happening,so I'm not sure what to do. Do I need to hold on to my 500 gold until the event fires,as the country in question has one province I need for my mission tree,and I'd prefer not to go to war with them over one province. I'm using the anbennar mod.

Ok thanks. Just annoying how PDX doesn't allow that as I hate going to war just for 1 province.

@Rellana1: The version is right (although it’s only an information anyway and doesn’t matter). PDX just changed the format of the version, hence it shows that error. I didn’t want to update again just for that change tho.

Is this still being updated? tried to run it and got a message saying it was made for a older version of EU4,and yeah I'm using the anbennar mod as well.

@LimonenZitrone On Anbennar, it's say you can't buy province of player or something like that (i play alone, uh) so it's look like Anbennar unallow your mod :/

Its worked on anbennar before though I usednto use it all the time. Ill try a few things with cheats to see if im just missing something

@Klutz2020: Never tried it with Anbennar, but I don't see a reason why it wouldn't work honestly. And this version should work for any game version after 1.29. Maybe try unsubbing and resubbing, if you haven't yet. On the other hand the mod also doesn't seem to work with Voltaire's Nightmare and I have no idea why, so chances are that Anbennar could have a similar issue.

Any way to get it to work on 1.34.5? want to use it with anbennar. It will show the buy province button, but will then do nothing after it is used. Is there a older version? or am i missing something?

@stefanspalovic: I feel at this point you can just use the console to give yourself the provinces instead.

@LimonenZitrone I tried to modify files from your mod but I don't know how to make it works. I want to be able to buy unlimited number of provinces all at once, to remove AI acceptance and to buy as many provinces as I want without waiting time.

@stefanspalovic: The download link is valid, there is no issue with it. And yesman only works for vanilla dip actions, not custom ones. The ai acceptance is coded into the trigger in the direct download version, so it won't matter for this anyway. You can just edit the mod files from the workshop download, if you so wish (and make the dip actions not require acceptance or remove the negative acceptance modifiers). The files are in ...\steamapps\workshop\content\236850\686284192, and there inside common/new_diplomatic_actions.

@LimonenZitrone Its me again. I tried to activate yesman cheat to be able to buy provinces but it did not works with your mod. You have written in mod description that old version of your mod does not use the AI acceptance. Is it true and could you give me valid link to download it, please?

@stefanspalovic: That's what steam says for basically any site like this. It's fine.
And of course AI will accept under the given circumstances. Them not always accpting is point of the balance and the old mod won't change anything about that.

I am playing EU4 newest version 1.34 and I played with new version of your mod but I can not buy provinces because the ai nations would not accept it so I need old version of your mod.

@stefanspalovic: The site should be fine, would suggest an adblocker anyway though.
Are you playing with an EU4 version 1.28 or older? Since you would only need it for that, newer ones should work with the steam one again.

@LimonenZitrone when I try to download older version of this mod from the link on mediafire, it says that it is malicious site and I cant download it. Can you do something about it, maybe you can post it on the other site, please?

@Akatosharine: The neighbor condition is mainly for balance (since it's already really strong this way). I'm not even sure I could make it depending on coring range.

It would be nice. I think it would be even nicer if countries offered their colonial nations for sale if the are in bankrupcy or similar though

@Rafaelkai: AI doesn't use the buy province action, so since that is the only you want excluded, I don't think a seperate mod would be neccessary, if you just don't use the action (or in MP just agree to not use it I suppose).

Could you make a version of this mod but only including the "Buy a colonial nation" and "Increasing population in colonies" features?. It would be highly appreciated.

Can you remove the 'has to be a neighbour' condition and make it based on coring distance instead?

@SoullessWonderer: Sounds like you have the vanilla bug of events not appearing. A game restart should fix that.

i hit buy a province and nothing happens. it had a check mark but nothing.

@Assassin (Bully Hunter): No, that is sadly not possible. That cheat only affects vanilla diplomatic actions and not custom ones. And since it does not set anything I could check for to make a custom AI acceptance if it is active, it's impossible to make it work with custom actions.

The YESMAN cheat does not make this auto accept. Can you change that please so it does accept this as auto yes please?
