@rexxar @Sunoko Utilizing both of you're mods I have created a 'fixed' version of this mod (as a stopgap method) so for anyone else who like me created a world and got stuck it in on this version and doesn't want to start over to run 2.0, I welcome you to try it out. (If Sunoko wishes me to take it down though I will ofc comply)

after downloading, this seems like an interesting mod. Unfortunately, it seems though that stations will spawn but no drones being spawned by the station. Could this be fixed soon enough? This seems like a fun mod tbh but looks like it's broken for now.

the spawntime makes it less fun, nomater what i did, they would win just becasue they kept spawning in more til i was totaly rekt to shreds. feels like a endless wave of ships.

I think the spawning size of the ships should be based on block count and mass, the re spawn ship 1 is basically defenseless, but I could build a massive small ship warship and wreck house

It's probably well known, but I'm going to comment anyway. I ran this mod on a dedicated server for a week. It causes big swings and dips in game logic, lagging the world so much it's unusable. Awesome concept, but not really usable yet.

@Did Somebody Ring the Dinkster? Station is 10km, Formidable mk.1 is 5km. They are controlled by in-game program. If you want to change distance, you should unzip mod file, and edit prefab.(Find and edit callDronesDistance = 10000;)
Spanw trick is the same as change antenna name to TestSpawnerPAC. Programmable block change antena name, and drones are spawning.

Great mod. I hope eventually you can add pirate drones that seek out and actively attack your base. As is, this mod is full of piratey goodness!

How close do I have to get to the stations for pirates to spawn? What factors effect this and can it be changed?

How do I make a station spawn pirates? Do I do the TestSpawnerPAC antenna trick, or is that only for testing

@superhappyalien Fixed some ship/station are not spawn, change ship/station antenna are always bloadcasting, and change float.MaxValue to 1000(Cause that probably does not work in Non-English client).Im tested and drones are working in Stable SP.
But sorry, I dont know why does not work on DS...

Vanilla drones are having different issue, and @Jimmacle fix it.

@sunoko Just let u know Since last Update Drones do not seem to work on servers, vanilla even does not even seem to work right as well , as well as other Mods with drones like Exploration Enhancement Mod , baisicly Drone just site there in space , this was tested on stable DS. can not comment on Dev servers.

This is great for Streamer + Viewers vs A.I. battles!

This mod's pirates are basically same as vanilla pirates. But carerful, this mod add more pirates = more battles = more spread debries.

Could you make the mod despawn the pirates after X amount of time, to reduce performance issues?

@GDI-BOSS "TestSpawnerPAC" antenna is demonstration function, use this when you cant find or want testing modded pirates. This mod is expanding Exprolation Feature. When you are exploring space, you will encount them as vanilla pirates.

I really like the idea, i want something like 7DTD for SE, but right now i just can't get them to attack me, unless i go to them. They spawn like around 10km away and just stay away, even in the isane demo version. They might get to 6km, but that is it.

@iValz I changed value. Now Formidable mk.1 chase if players ship size is over 100 meters.(reduce from 300+ meters) Thanks to report!

@Sambol Not tested. Maybe if vanilla pirate are work correctly, this mod also work. All this mods drones/stations script are run every second, Not used Trigger Now loop.

@iValz Indecisive mk.1 is glitched, and now fixed. Formidable mk.1(cargo ship) doesnt chase if player ship is small. Vengeful mk.1, stations, and some wrecked ship are stay there. Dont move other drones? If "In-Game Script" world setting is off, must be turn on.

I have a problem. After the ships spawn, they don't move. They just stay were they spawned and are easy targets. Help?

Hey! awesome mod. But, "incomparable mk.1" is quite glitchy -it sometimes have a habit of falling on to planet surface instead of focusing on the enemy (i dont mean that he can't stand the gravity ,it just tends to launch itself into any chunk of terrain in it's radius) , but a cool mod anyways. By-the-by, could you make a sort of pirate mass relay? Idea being a ship with long distance jump drive ,that attaches to other ships (presumably larger ones ,maybe a dreadnought or a lincore) and gets them out of the battle ,now the kicker is the idea - that this "jumper" can attach not only to the allies, but to any and everybody else ,making it a first spaceship thief ,kind of cool right?

@Vexy This mod using vanilla pirate function, and using some trick with ingame script. It has many limitation.(pirate station spawn location and timing is random, stations stop working when player is far, and other)Maybe, need to using ModAPI. But I don`t know how to use/what can do with ModAPI yet.

Yes, exactly @Sunoko :) exactly. I'm sorry it is impossible so far. but that would be amazing - and the way that your mod works (spawning based on what player has) is perfect for this. Would it be possible if you had help? Do you know what would be needed to expand your mod to this capability?
Within range restriction - what I mean by this is that a "base" or waypoint satelite near Alien planet - will spawn enemies and send them to player on earth - even without being >5k. Does that make sense? Is it possible?

@Vexy You want to earthlike planet(player side) versus alien planet(NPC pirate) warfare mod? Sadly, it is impossible in my modding skill yet:(
And "need to be within range" mean I should reduce drones spawn rate?(Sorry if I misunderstanding)
