For some reason, this truck reminds me of a DAF truck... Don't you think so too? Just compare the lights and the grill with this with, say, a DAF XF, CF or LF.

Tried this truck on various maps, did not enjoy it. (Running standard Spintires, not Plus). Compared to other 8x8 trucks I have played:
* Off road capability poor on all tyres. Got stuck where other trucks would drive right through, or could not get as far as other trucks. Did not handle mud or rocks well.
* Park brake will not hold truck on hills.
* Poor steering - worse with diff locks on. Sometimes wouldn't even turn in the direction I had the front wheels pointing. Would just plough forwards, or slide down the hill (if on a side slope).
* Gets hung up too easily on rocks and fallen trees.
* Damages easily.

Other issues:
* Engine noise - inconsistent. Jumps between sounds at different rev ranges. Goes back to idle when front wheels turned.

I don't know if I missed something, or if the Spintires Plus mod is needed to make the truck driveable, but I wasn't impressed with it. It is a good looking truck, with plenty of power, but the points listed above turned me off it. Sorry.

This is antiexploit. Many players use Drop Load before rough terrain for lowering cargo weight. And when they cross obstacles, pack cargo and normaly continue. This is not fair.

And you take any third-party mod,and see there the settings of handbrake.Because it is impossible with such weak brakes to ride.

I don't know how make handbrake more powerfull.

Well then, at least make the brakes more silnymi.A on the slopes, they do not hold the truck in place.

... but fuel consumption with Norgren trans and army wheel is ehm, astronomical. But this is price for that unstoppability :)

The truck is very bad the hand brake does not hold on slopes,the wheels spin.

I'm not asking to add fuel to the truck,I asked to make an addon for fuel.It's two different things.

On the default wheels and stock transmission is standard fuel consumption. But when You use upgraded transmission and army wheels, the truck is almost unstoppable. And You must pay for it.

But you can't solve everything for players.Who wouldn't want to,he will not put the Addons.Who wants autonomy,that addon with fuel and repair would be very useful,especially on large maps.

Fuel consumption is penalty for power in order to balanced gameplay.

Black truck from the powerful motor,consumes a lot of fuel.Author,please add Addons with fuel and repair points.

на дню по 2 раза обновляется. Зачем убрал длинный роспуск с поворотом оси, а платформу, которая теперь без надобности, оставил? Что ещё ждать, или лучше пока удалить мод, чтоб игра не срывалась?

2 simple reasons :
- very frequent gear shifting at the most inconvenient situation
- steering wheels like G27 and other with manual shifters can use only five gears

But with SpinTires Plus there is possibility to use custom gearboxes as addons, I will try make 10 stage gear box as addon for Trial and Custom V12.

why did you get rid of the 10th gear in the green truck

I'm working on the much better steered trailer. This new will be based on the realistic steering with ropes and steer angle will be dependent on the angle between truck and trailer.

The steerable back wheels are excellent. Garminbreak, you are really pushing the possibilities of the mods within this game. Another awesome example.

@garminbreak Thank you! Can you help me understand? Is the antiexploit in the original game files or is it in some of the addons? I would like to put an according xml file in the media folder so it could maybe override the addons and/or the original files.

You can try open .zip file with mod and erase 3 files in the CLASSES/MODELS folder. This should help.

I searched my ass of for the issue.can you PLEASE tell me a way to find and enable/disable the ANTIexploit? that would be great because I would really like to use your trucks and also not having to unsubscribe and re-subscribe each truck to find out which had the antiexploit. It's a real PITA

I love the steerable long logs trailer. It's incredible how tight corners you can take once you get used to it. Why has nobody thought of this before (If someone has than take my apologies. I'm not that good informed on spintires and its modding scene)
