I used this mod and deleted it, but it still will start at the end of the cave in helgen versus the game start. How to I revert to vanilla settings?

This Quick start is in every copy of Skyrim,it was made by Bethesda,I just activate it in the MQ101 mission

No I use all the DLCs and only test my mods with all DLCs,This is about as simple as a mod can get,it only takes a few seconds to make this mod,did you make sure the mod is Selected in data

I have all of the DLCs for the game would that be an issue

Did you make sure the mod has downloaded and is selected in Data,it is a very simple reliable mod that works extremely well,I have many versions of this mod,I have 253 mods posted in the workshop,check your Data file just below options which is just below Play when you first start Skyrim,that is the usual reason

I do have an alternate Helgen cave exit start as well "Book 1 The Great Escape The High King of Skyrim"You select your character in the Helgen cave Exit,then you teleport to the Road before Helgen,the stormcloaks attack the wagon train and you can escape,even with a cart horse pulling a wagon,Btw the wagon is a deadly weapon when you run guards over with the wagon you don't get a bounty,it is best to let the stormcloaks and imperial soldiers fight it out,they are stronger than regular soldiers and can kill the player easily,but definately loot soldiers that get killed for go loot,the stormcloak and imperial soldiers have special loot,it can actually be used with this mod you can go to the helgen wagon location even after you have started a game and see the battle between the Imperials and storermcloaks,it is not effected by any missions

Yes it is very difucult and time consuming to find a cause of a crash,sometimes you have to lower your video settings when you add more mods,note you can only use one type of body mod,if different follower mods require different body mods or different hair mods that can cause a conflict

ok there must have been some kind of conflict with one of my mods because I unchecked some of the ones I don't care about anymore and my game doesn't crash and this works now. I'm not sure what mod specifically was causing issues.

I did go through to make sure all of my desired mods were selected, most of which I have been using for quite some time and have never encountered problems with. i guess i'll just have to see...

Make sure this mod has downloaded and selected in data,that is the only reason your game started the usual way.you will find Data below play when you first start the game

This is such a simple mod it is not the cause of your game crashing,the Helgen Cave exit quick start is in every vanilla copy of Skyrim,something else is causing your game to crash do you have any other mods.

and actually at this point my game just crashes right away

this did not seem to work for me i just started a brand new game after getting this and nothing happened, i do have other mods installed would that cause some sort of issue?

This mod is basically a vanilla start Mod so basically the default equipment,I have many other mods for all the things you are asking

I think I put 100 lockpicks in the inventory,the default gold is 140 gold,you can go and search Helgen after you leave the cave,salt pile and garlic is the most valveable item you can find in helgen,it makes a good potion,I have over 200 mods posted,I do have other mods that have special items,Check my High King of Skyrim Book Series,I designed them to work together,Book 1,2,3,etc High King of Skyrim,there over 50 Books(Mods) in the series so far.

what about wizard clothes and such?

what about any sort of money or spell books that you get in helgen also a few lock picks?

It does give you a complete Iron Armor set and all Iron Weapons,Bow and Iron arrows
