Sorry for the delayed reply, this mod is working just fine for me in SP and on my server as of 20/08/23
Johnny 31 Jan, 2023 @ 9:17am
None of the items in this mod will allow me to place them on my 356.4 ragnarok server. I can spawn them in, put them in my toolbar, but when I select them nothing happens, occasionally I see an obstruction warning at the top of the screen. Unsure if it's the mod itself, or if it's conflicting with one of my other mods which are awesome spyglass!, death recovery mod, awesome teleporters!, dino tracker, upgrade station, classic flyers.

When trying to place a panel, I keep getting the message that is obstructed. No matter where I try to place it

Sorry no, there are only a few times when authors give out source files they are....

1. When the mod is no longer to be updated and someone else will take over.
2. When an author has finished with the mod and no longer wants it.
3. When the mod has been made as a teaching aid.

As none of the above relates to the present situation I must decline, Sorry again.

I'd like to translate this mod for my nephew. Could you maybe provide the source-files???

Wow Bolisaris, glad you are still with us after all of that. Praying for you man and hope to hear a good report from the CT in March. Love your mods, they have made Ark a whole lot more fun for me!
doggz1999 9 Dec, 2021 @ 5:58am
I'm glad he was able to laugh and appreciated the humor, especially being a surgeon... I'm sure he has never encountered that before!
Bolisaris  [author] 8 Dec, 2021 @ 9:03am
Last time I went to The Christie in Manchester, I took a largwe zip with me and gave it to the surgeon "to save time at the next one" is what I said to him after laughing for a while he said " I am not going back in there, no need you have nothing I want" lol
doggz1999 8 Dec, 2021 @ 8:25am
You have certainly been through a lot! I admire your positive attitude and maintaining your determination throughout this experience. I can not image what it would be like to go through even one of the procedures you have undergone--only to be told you have to go through more.
I really wish you the best of luck and hope the CT in March shows that you are officially in remission! And thank you for sharing you story along with your talent with modding. :steamhappy:
Bolisaris  [author] 8 Dec, 2021 @ 8:24am
Oh and to clear things up it WAS the ascending colon that the disease started, the descending colon was removed at the first cyto-reductive surgery along with the omentums, sigmoid colon, part of the rectum, and a few other things like my umbilical (belly button for those not in the know) lots was taken which I will not go into here, but hey! I am still here and kicking lol.
Bolisaris  [author] 8 Dec, 2021 @ 8:16am
@doggz1999 - You are quite correct the original diagnosis was colorectal cancer which is the reason for the right hemi-colectomy, My scanat first was clear but the second scan showed disease in the left lung which as you correctly point out was metastatic, then further disease was detected in the abdomen for which I had Cyto-reductive surgery, disease was then found on the right adrenal gland so they put me on oxiaplatin (sp) chemotherapy to maintain the disease while I recovered from the first cyto-reductive surgery then had a second cyto to cut out the disease on the adrenal gland and clean up some small particles of disease, thank you for asking.
doggz1999 8 Dec, 2021 @ 6:25am
And thank you very much for the mod! :steamhappy:
doggz1999 8 Dec, 2021 @ 6:25am
Ran into a character limit on my original post....

Also, I have worked with two surgeons who who have had very successful careers that you would never know wear a wearing a colostomy (both were unable to have the colon anastomosed due to large resections). Hosting a colostomy is not something that I but I feel your positive outlook is great and that, while some people feel disabled with a colostomy and end up depressed, please always remain positive and keep the optimistic mind set that you have conveyed in your post.

Best of luck!
doggz1999 8 Dec, 2021 @ 6:24am
Bolisaris, thank you very much for sharing your story and for the update.

I am a general practitioner (so you don't explain what something is ie. Omentum unless you want to for everyone else) but if you don't mind me asking was your original diagnosis colorectal cancer? Sounds like it was metastatic as they had to dissect the right lung, you had treatment on the descending colon and you had an adrenal adenoma, however, it is usually the descending aspect where adenocarcinoma develops but you mentioned hemi-colectomy of the ascending in '17 first. Oncology is not my strong point. Did chemo reduce the tumor size, which I assume was an adenocarcinoma, leading to an adrenalectomy or were there any other tumors also found at that time?
Bolisaris  [author] 6 Dec, 2021 @ 9:01am
I had chemo in 2020 to reduce and maintain tumour growth. Thats the bad news, the good news is I had a scan (CT with contrast) in The Christie hospital in Manchester in September and there was no sign of the cancer in that scan so they are VERY hopeful of a complete recovery, although it has cost me dearly I now have a stoma bag but that is small price to pay.

Right after that long explanation I would like to thank you again for asking, but it is starting to look good, another scan coming up in March next year if that is clear they will assume I am in remission, here's hoping. Oh and yes I am back modding lol.
Bolisaris  [author] 6 Dec, 2021 @ 9:01am
Thank you for asking, yes there is good news of sorts, after 4 MAJOR and I mean major, the ops include.....

2016 - Right Hemi-colectomy - where they took away the whole of my ascending colon.
2017 - Right lung wedge disection where they took away a third of my left lung.
2019 - Cyto reductive surgery with hitep chemo, here they took away a lot, my descending colon, lesser and greater Omentum (flaps that cover the stomach and abdomen) a few other things I will not go into here as the list is long.
2021 - In march this year the took away a large tumour on the adrenal gland on my right kidney and cleaned up some scar tissue from the op in 2019.
doggz1999 5 Dec, 2021 @ 10:31pm
Any update on how you are doing?
Bolisaris  [author] 11 Jun, 2021 @ 2:29am
Thanks for those kind words and I am sure I will come out clean at the end of this dark tunnel. :)
MADxHAWK [GER] 11 Jun, 2021 @ 1:48am
Hey Bolisaris, I just read about your disease.
I hope you are well and i know what you have to go through. I had leukemia 10 years ago.
I wish you all the strenght you need to get through this time mate. Get well
Bolisaris  [author] 3 Jun, 2021 @ 2:15am
As far as I am aware the mod is compatible with S+ at any rate I use S+ on all my servers along with this mod with no problems.
DJCOOL101 1 Jun, 2021 @ 1:53pm
Is this compatible with S+?
Kozzma 26 May, 2021 @ 11:26am
@Bolisaris, Thank you for your work on this. as it is one of my favorite mods. I just Started up a server for some of my friends that are just starting, and I hope to use it again on my boat that I build for a portable base. Positive thoughts that the CT comes back clean, and hope that you continue to improve. Be well good Sir and keep us updated.
:ale: Cheers!
Bolisaris  [author] 26 May, 2021 @ 8:40am
This mod has been recooked to work after the major game update, sorry it has taken so long to do, I will test this in my server and let you know if it works for me.

Have tested the recooked mod in one of my servers and it seems to be working again just fine, please try it out and let me know if you have any problems.

recent surgery went well and has been classed as successful, not sure if I am disease free yet will know in September when I have my first pre-op CT scan, hence the reason I am back modding.
Timbo360 7 Feb, 2021 @ 3:01pm
Hey don't sweat it bro...just get better:) Wish you the best
Bolisaris  [author] 7 Feb, 2021 @ 1:42pm
Update on health....

The current Chemotherapy has kept the disease stable enough for the surgeon to plan my next major surgery which will be mid March (hopefully, Covid 19 permitting) at The Christie hospital in Manchester, it is quite an in depth operation same as last time (9 hours under the knife last time) then about a year convalescence. So I will not be modding anytime soon. If the worst comes to the worst I will allow someone (experienced modder preferably) to take over the source files, that way the mod will not be totally lost.
Timbo360 5 Feb, 2021 @ 3:47pm
I hope your doing okay man....
Bolisaris  [author] 15 Dec, 2020 @ 7:04am
Update to my health. The first course of chemotherapy did not work, I am now on cycle 9 of the second course I will not find out if it is working until just before Christmas, so I will not YET be modding the game until I find out if it is good or bad news, good would be that the cancer is reducing, bad, that it is now terminal and I will be on palliative care only, that being the case I will never mod it again. Sorry guys 'n' gals.
AdorableSparrow 14 Dec, 2020 @ 7:27pm
WEEEEW
Bolisaris  [author] 16 Mar, 2020 @ 6:34am
I am in fact a lot better although not completely cured yet, a few months of chemotherapy is to follow but I am a lot better than I was, I will not bore you all with the problem I have but the good news is I am well enough I think to restart modding this game and I am at the moment reinstalling the game and the editor to start doing just that.
BlackLaser 16 Mar, 2020 @ 6:19am
No apologiese needed ... I hope you get better and wish you the best. I used your mod for many months (maybe even years) I hope you know that you made many lives happier/better while playing ark because your mod made this horrible grindy game much less frustrating in many ways :)
If you ever return to ark and modding I would be excited to see what else you might have to offer :D
Bolisaris  [author] 16 Mar, 2020 @ 3:39am
I have no idea as I have been unwell for some time and do not even have Ark installed on my computer as the hard drive went tits up on me and I had to reinstall windows on a new drive, sorry
BlackLaser 11 Mar, 2020 @ 8:24am
does this mod still work since the Genesis update? or are only Wireless mods broken since then?
Bolisaris  [author] 9 Sep, 2019 @ 12:28pm
No as these are wired they do not power Tek Tier items as these are wirelessly connected, try my wireless solar panels for that.
Body Karate 2 Sep, 2019 @ 1:41pm
Will these power Tek structures on a raft?
ƔενεσισAria🌸 15 Aug, 2019 @ 6:23pm
There should be no reason for conflict if you use all your own blueprints and your own smithy.
Bolisaris  [author] 15 Aug, 2019 @ 1:10am
I have not tried it in game for some time, I will take a look, it sounds very much like a mod conflict to me though, but I will take a look and see.
ƔενεσισAria🌸 13 Aug, 2019 @ 3:05pm
Well doing the battery idea, there is the mods like the ones thatdo the lights that turn on at night, just use that but give no way to manually switch it ingame, then you wire it to a generator which it turns on or off, and call the generator a battery. Just an idea for a way to think about it if you are considering giving it a shot.

and yeah same as hirnsausen, i can't place them at all, they never show up still, your wireless mod works fine but not the wired ones.
Hirnsausen 12 Aug, 2019 @ 2:49am
Too sad. I do programming, but in Delphi. Nothing that can help with your project.

Another thing: I just wanted to use your solar panels, but I cannot place them anywhere. Are you aware of any placement problem?
Bolisaris  [author] 12 Aug, 2019 @ 2:22am
That is fine to suggest but actually doing it is another thing entirely, I have tried over the past few months to add battery storage but without scripting knowledge it is way past me, I am a WYSYWIG (What You See Is What You Get) modder and have no experience or knowledge with scripting, I have approached a few scripting modders with this but so far none have offered any help so I am stuck, sorry about that but until someone with scripting klnowledge offers to help, no battery.
Hirnsausen 10 Aug, 2019 @ 11:18am
Here's my suggestion. add a "battery". Without battery, the solar panels give energy only during daylight. But when there is a battery somewhere on the system, "stored" energy flows also during night times.
Bolisaris  [author] 22 Jul, 2019 @ 5:27am
Try using the 10 method, by that I mean disable the first 10 of your mods, then if the problem remains eneble them again and disable the next 10 once the problem disappears then it is one of the 10 disabled mods then just enable them one by one antil the offending mod is identified, once identified try placing my mod higher in the proriy list then the offending mod. Hope this helps you.
ƔενεσισAria🌸 20 Jul, 2019 @ 6:23am
The problem is that i can't imagine what it's conflicting with haha. I have a lot of mods and it'd take who knows how many hours to narrow down lol.
Bolisaris  [author] 20 Jul, 2019 @ 1:54am
Usually a good sign of conflict with another mod I am afraid
ƔενεσισAria🌸 15 Jul, 2019 @ 11:13am
I'm having the same issue unable to place them, not sure why.
Bolisaris  [author] 24 Jun, 2019 @ 12:41pm
That's good to know.
Eleros 24 Jun, 2019 @ 3:56am
@Bolisaris I manage to fix the issue when server restarted and I joined again, all of a sudden the solar panel smithy thingy could be placed unlike before, and any panels made could be snapped to cable or freely placed as well
Bolisaris  [author] 23 Jun, 2019 @ 12:35pm
I will take alook and see if I can replicate the fault!
Eleros 23 Jun, 2019 @ 8:45am
I'm having an issue where if I try to place an item after creation it doesn't appear as an outline and therefore can't be used.
Joew 26 Sep, 2018 @ 7:17am
Perfect, thank you!
neidson44 25 Sep, 2018 @ 5:42am
top mesmo esse mode
