Absolutely love your weapons E. Have a ton downloaded. Question if I may, however. I was wondering how I could make one of your weapons the default rifle for my troops. if that is at all possible, I remember seeing beaglerush have one of your mods as the default weapon. I am using Xskin if that would cause an issue. Thanks for any feedback, and for all these awesome weapon modles!

They act as their own weapons with their own stats. You can use XSkins (not compatible with LW2) if you prefer the weapons to act as reskins.

Sadly, that isn't currently possible, unless I merge all of the weapons together into one pack (which is what I'm doing). You can go edit the inis for each weapon and set the cost to zero.

Got the mod, got to tier 2 weapons then realized you have to upgrade each gun individually, any way to count all the guns as upgraded when standard rifles are upgraded or just count them as skins? I'd like some variety in gun appearance but don't want to invest money into a certain style of rifle.

I could add a green stock/grip M16A2 model (closest model that I have to a 715) to the weapon megapack if you really want a C7 Assault rifle.

Yes. It turns out that the C7A1 Assault rifle is based off of the Colt Model 715, except that the grips are green, and some other minor changes to it.

Right, I forgot. Wait. According to a Gmod port of some Battlefield Bad Company 2 props, The Colt715 is the Canadian version of the M16. I bet I could use the latter and not know the difference between the two. Am I assuming this correctly?

It's not that I dislike Canadian weapons, it is that there aren't that many good Canadian weapons available to port. I definitely don't want to port an ugly model into X2 either.

Just a heads up @E3245 the MAC-11, as of two days ago, was not acting as an SMG even with the LW rebalance mod installed. Uzi was working perfectly. Not trying to be a pest, just letting you know. Love your weapons and appreciate your work!

The UZI and MAC-11 acts as SMGs if you install the LW2 Rebalance mod.

I am stoked to hear you're making a master mod that works with LW.... This makes me giddy :) There are so many fantastic weapons people have ported (I've done one or two not so fantastic ports on here, but whatever). It'll be great to see a new collection coming together since unfortunately Krakkah stopped his CV Weapon Pack updates.

That's pretty much what I'm gonna do, but the mod will only support LW at release. Vanilla support will come down the line, eventually.

PLEASE create a pack that includes all of your weapons in one installation package?
This would save a lot of trouble and potentially prevent loading issues.

They all should be compatible with Grimy's Loot mod and the XSkin mod. You shouldn't need to do anything else.

Found instructions for doing it, but can't understand what Grimy meant here.

"Step 4 - Add Schematic Names
You only need to do step 4 if your mod adds new schematics that don't use X2Item_DefaultSchematic's upgradeitem function (Which you should do)"

So I will just ask - do I need to do this for your mods?
