@Dr.caboose - If you're referring to the facial details and things like that, I did draw it by hand with a mouse. Why would you assume it hasn`t been added, anyway? I am the original creator of the Pocket Medic, you know.

This isn't a retexture (at least not any more). This was a fix that I posted here and then emailed to Valve. It was put in the game already, so really it shouldn't even be here any more.

@megyko - A while ago, the Pocket Medic received an update where Valve added a shadow pass to the Pocket Medic, darkening the doll and also the pocket. The pocket no longer matched the color of Heavy's shirt, so I edited the shadow pass the remove it from the pocket. The fix was added to the game long ago, even though this Workshop entry doesn't reflect that.

Yep, looks like it's in. I'm guessing they haven't noticed this entry in the Workshop because I sent an email directly to Robin with this fix as well. That's why it doesn't say anything about being accepted in-game yet. Either way, I'm just glad it's fixed.

Looks like they accepted this fix, last night's update said "Updated the texture for the Pocket Medic." under "Undocumented changes", I also compared this one to the new released one, and they looked the same.

I'm afraid not, Demon!... I spent more time trying to figure out how to get it to compile (and failing) than I did in making the fix. So, I gave that up in frustration, although I'm confident the fix works/looks fine... after all, it's just a mix of the original texture and the texture with the shadow pass.

Do you have a shot of the compiled version, either in-game or in HLMV? I'd love to see how this fix looks, it's one of my favorite misc items.
