Hope someone will port this to WOTC. The Squad Based Roster contained game-breaking bug. I cannot play without any sort of squad cohesion mods anymore.

I see a lot of comments on old mods where people say it's not compat. with WotC, but from what I remember when WotC came out (as this mod is favorited in my history still) this, among others, were in my playthrough (around 288 mods) when WotC first came out and I played fine. Did something change? I just came back to XCOM

I would imagine it would be too hard to overwrite the bonding mechanic but if possible, I would love to see this for WotC as well. This is how it should have been in the first place. :-)

Hey just wanted to say epic mod, really wishing this was ported to Wotc also, but understand the difficulty it would have been to do so. It kind of amazing on mod part and sad on developers that this seems better then the "bond mates", but that I suppose it not massively uncommon in mods.
Any ways great job again.

Hey, are you gunna work on a WOTC version, or have you given up support? This is a really good mod, and no squad creator mod works with WOTC. I'm sure loads of people would really appreciate it if you made this for WOTC. I understand if not though, since I'm sure making this took time.

So I was wondering why my group was growing slowly and why everyone hated the psi user; I guess when you have a ton of Psizombies die that really puts a damper on everyone's mood.

I agree with Obama, too. This really added more flavor to the game in comparison to bondmates. A fireteam is nice, but a squad is where it's at.

Same as Obama, I adore Squad Cohesion as it allows me to keep a consistent squad working together like well oiled machine. Bonding system is fine, but duo's dont win wars, a well coordinated and connected team does. WoTC version would be delightful.

And Pavonis had a contract with 2K, not Firaxis. Whether they're contracted now and under a NDA is somewhat moot... as they'd be under a NDA.

@the1archon: No, this mod had it before LW Toolbox was even out, just like almost everything the LW-Toolbox had(except for a better screen for squad selection with more than 6 people) is something that other mods did before it, with less incompatabilities.

@pheonix89 If I catch what you mean then no since it's part of the core LW mechanics (and code) and not part of squad cohesion. Pretty sure Palvonis working to make LW version for WotC. They probably don't release since it's not ready and Firaxis asked them to give time to people to play the game un-modded first (I have no facts to the second reason, just a gut feeling).
