Less Awful Continent Bonuses

This isn't WOTC compatible, that much I can assure you. However, a lot of the continent bonuses were revamped and were also made into randomized Resistance Orders, so I think this mod is pretty much obviated unless it undergoes massive changes. (No offense to the original author, I loved this during vanilla XCOM2, it's just that I think it's most likely unnecessary with WOTC.)

I don't think 'Hidden Reserves' is 'weak'. It's powerful & free Power relay itself.
15 power looks too big to me.

can you change the file size to be less massive please thanks

all in is not weak at all, the buff is making it too overpowered

I have tried a couple of mods who supposedly removes bad continent bonuses. None of them worked, but this one does. It even works retroactively, so no need to restart game for the new bonuses to apply. Well done creator. :steamhappy:

To Serve Mankind would be useful if it takes a complete different route like +bonus exp per kill or discount on Guerrilla tactics school.

Replica - To Serve Mankind is actually pretty useful on Legend, or if the Dark event that makes them cost more is active.

To serve mankind - Free recruits every month?

'Pursuit of Knowledge' would be quite good if you could build more than 1 lab. What do you think?

Very Nice! :DarkOphelia:

@Replica As I learn more about modding XCOM, changing those 2 (and Pursuit of Knowledge) are definitely on my to-do list. But for now, I don't have the know-how to modify them.

To Serve Mankind and Hidden Reserves as they are currently (and in vanilla) are, and will always be, completely useless and neglibile.

For one considering that power isn't that hard or particularly expensive to get to begin with (and that there arent enough facilities to build to warrant a dramatic power consumption), and second being that recruits practically grow on trees, like once you have your team (and reserve team if you roll like the fatigue mod or whatevs) you kind of don't really care anymore.

If you can find some method of changing what the bonuses DO altogether to actually benefit players rather than be some kind of useless extra, then that'd be rad, otherwise it'd maybe be best to just remove them altogether honestly.

To Serve Mankind -> higher chances of leveled troops at BM/RHQ, costs cut by 50%.

Personally, I've never gotten a full continent bonus until the late game (unless it was something amazing like armed to the teeth or fire when ready). Either they happen organically through facilities/story missions, or they happen during the victory lap. It's not something I've targetted specifically?

Is this the same for everyone else?
