I've built the scenario. Took me a while to get around to it, but I'm really pleased with how it turned out. It uses this station along with the complete IMDC collection, and it uses the Visual Scripting Tool used in the official campaigns made by Keen. You can spawn any IMDC ship with the press of a button. It's called Battle for Farside Station. Would love to hear your thoughts on it.

Hey JD! I was so inspired recently I went and made a modified station module set, specifically for the server I'm running. The IMDC designs are some of my favorites on the workshop and I can't help but unleash the Pakled in me and clunk up someone else's work xD (although I like to believe I'm not so bad as to be a true Pakled potato head alien from the Arkansas of space.)

So anyway, this lead to me building an expansive station on said server with said modules and if you'd like to see the result it's the most recent item on my workshop. I'd link it here but I'm not that shameless haha.

While the station is old, it's probably one of the more "iconic" builds on the workshop and still functions just fine. It holds up pretty well imo. I was wondering if you could give me some background on the IMDC lore (if there's any) or if there's any particular way you'd like to see them represented in a video series (for instance, would you mind if they're an antagonistic force?) or if you really aren't that bothered. It'd be great to get your insight. ;)

Hi, thanks for reaching out to me. Well this station is pretty old, but sure you can use my assets. But maybe you'll find more up to date builds, that integrat more of the new skins, lights, blocks, armor pieces etc.
But whatever you decide, you can use this freely as you want.

No, not at all. Not even a fraction of the amount you would need. Also you would need H2 thrusters, a lot of them.

Does this thing come with enough thrust to get it to space?

You can shoot every non-voxel grid to space, if you have enough thrust.

Question: Is it possible for me to build this on a planet and then shoot it to space

I love this space station. The main reason I love it is because of the style and simplicity of it. I have literally gutted this thing and rearranged it into formats that suit me because I love the style so much. Thank you for building these. I appreciate you. <3

I‘m not sure if I understand the question, but you can put a merge block anywhere on the connecting surface.

Is there any specific location we put the merge blocks to connect prefabs?

Jokes aside, there never was a problem with breathable atmosphere in this station and I didnt change anything lately. I propose you check your game settings and if your o2 pressurisation is enabled.

Been playing SE on and off now for quite awhile and only discovered once I sub'd this station that I already had a fair collection of IMDC stuff (unused). Must be something about them that I like. :-)
