i try'ed different sizes but in the end i didn't want to use it. the snow plateau are to bumpy for rovers. i planed to flood it with the water mod and then jump across the plateaus in rovers.

I recommend about 50km, TanjBear
TanjBear 15. sep. 2020 kl. 11:42
Recommended size?
Ariah  [ophavsmand] 9. apr. 2019 kl. 23:35
Fixed.
Ariah  [ophavsmand] 8. apr. 2019 kl. 20:26
Thanks for the heads up, something is indeed broken

@Ariah, I believe your recent update to this may have corrupted it somehow. My Steam client is having issues downloading the update. Deleting the old version from the new workshop folder didn't help anything, but unsubscribing from it did.

I just loaded it again and I'm not seeing any purple textures (I presume you mean the missing texture pattern). There's no custom textures at all, so I'm not sure why that would be the case. I'm not planning to modify the stone or ore distribution, especially since that would modify it for the people already using it, but you're welcome to do so locally - it just involves some changes to the XML.

Not going to lie, I loved this planet. I just wish there were no/fewer stones *and* had ore deposits of all kinds.
Borker 20. juli 2018 kl. 16:29
Nice necro. Are the purple textures fixed?

This planet (or moon) still makes a great replacement for the vanilla Europa. :KOh:
Ariah  [ophavsmand] 10. nov. 2017 kl. 16:55
Thank you, Normen! There is ore, but it's not always easy to find (except in ore rocks). Try the big crater, there's a lot of rocks there.
Normen 10. nov. 2017 kl. 2:52
Nice work. There is a real survival world. I think there is no ore. But travel to the surface and see if there is ore, but it is very rare. I will be preparing for a difficult to survive world server. For me this planet really likes it, I'm going to throw it away. Thank you for your work, really a super planet! (sorry for me is very bad english).

Any chance of adding surplus iron/nickel/cobalt inside the canyons to allow mining into the sides of them for ores?

Thank you, Eyester!
EYESTER 5. apr. 2017 kl. 1:04

The name of this planet, I absolutely love the name of this planet. Great work on the concept, I will definetly explore it!
Dakroth 13. apr. 2016 kl. 17:25
... and never will be... You will die on Khelek! :P
Ariah  [ophavsmand] 13. apr. 2016 kl. 13:19
There is no life on Khelek.
Kalec84 13. apr. 2016 kl. 11:39
is there any "fauna"?
Dakroth 3. apr. 2016 kl. 18:44
oh... wait, does this planet have *only* the resources you listed? lol
That would explain why I'm not finding what I need >.>
Dakroth 3. apr. 2016 kl. 14:11
Ah, okay. I haven't seen the dark spots yet, that was the problem. I'll have to look around more.
Ariah  [ophavsmand] 3. apr. 2016 kl. 13:59
Both. If you go to the valleys or the crater, you'll find a lot of rocks (which follow the normal resource distribution rules for rocks). However, if you look for dark ore spots, you'll also find underground resources. Some of them, particularly platinum, are quite deep, so you'll need a large ship scanner to find everything.
Dakroth 3. apr. 2016 kl. 13:39
So are the resource deposits mostly contained in rocks on the surface, or are they also in the normal underground deposits? I can't seem to find anything besides rocks that mostly all contain the same thing. (Magnesium, in one case. Not so helpful. haha)

Can't say I've been to it but it looks beautiful from Iridus

Nice planet Cant Wait To Fly my Ship To It :steamhappy:
Feisty Eliza 29. mar. 2016 kl. 21:18
Unsure if I want to make this a large moon or a small planet. Either way, its landing amongst the planets I'm using for my server world.
Ariah  [ophavsmand] 23. mar. 2016 kl. 12:41
I used 50 km diameter. I think it scales nicely at larger sizes but I wouldn't go too much smaller.
Hyperforce 23. mar. 2016 kl. 4:56
This is a pretty cool planet
Dakroth 22. mar. 2016 kl. 20:20
Is there a recommended diameter, or is it workable at any?
SimplyBenjamen 20. mar. 2016 kl. 2:34
This is the equestrian empire and this is our new favorite homeworld.
Ariah  [ophavsmand] 19. mar. 2016 kl. 18:46
