1:thank you for this mod it has been a treat for the eyes.
2: I've run into a problem. everything was fine during my first run and now that i have a better understanding of it i'm doing a normal play through. The problem is that the halo firearms are shooting "missing textures". I have followed your steps and am now asking for your help.

This mod is not for WOTC or the newest version of the game, which is probably based on WOTC. Youll have to check my other mods for that.

@Lauren Lore Thank you for the quick response! I ran a test and can now share with those who come after me: SAW inherits the medium-range aim straight from defaultgamedata_weapondata.ini I made a few changes there and am now enjoying a completely new experience. Thank you, Lauren Lore!

All the weapons in this (most excellent) mod have custom range aim defined in their respective configs, except for SAW and Magnum. Where does SAW get its aim@range values? Does it inherit them from the vanilla LMG? Are they hardcoded? Static? Or did that part of the config get dropped by accident at some point? - Many thanks! (yes, I am about to embark on an Ironman with these weapons, while waiting for some modern chips to become available).

Does this weapon pack work in WotC?

The WotC version doesn't include the SMG and Magnum, the SMG not being available anywhere except this mod and the Magnum requiring a separate mod that helps makes the mod list unnecessarily bloated.

@killerkitty641 @Shirou_Emiya Have you tried using the Alternative Mod Launcher? The recent XCOM 2 launcher update doesn't like most mods.

I had the same issue as Shirou, except that they become available after magnetic tier. Not a huge issue, but maybe its a bug or something

For the Grav Hammer use the Thunderhammer from one of the Warhammer mods for the full effect

@Thatonecloaker I think it might also appear when you go to upgrade to the next level of weaponry? Apparently thats worked in the past too.

I have the base game and started a new campaign. Upon arriving at the Avenger, it appears I was able to purchase Magnetic and Beam upgrades for all weapons right away -- for no supply cost -- BEFORE upgrading to those weapon classes from research. Is this a glitch?

I honestly dont remember its been a long time since ive touched gun anims and swapped stuff in and out.

Pulling from memory the best direction i can point you in is to copy over the magnum animations and then i think rename the fan_fire anim to something you want and then use that new anim with the archetype of the weapon. you may also need to copy paste it or you may not need to rename i dont remember :c

Can you tell me how you made the magnum fire 3 shots on regular fire? I've seen it in a couple gun mods and I wanted to add that to another pistol mod.

Yeah that has to be all handled through scripts and recompiling the mod. so its not possible unless someone has done that for this version

Hm, looking at the ODSTsmg config, and the LWsmg it might work just by replacing the variables with what's shown in the LWsmg file, no idea how to get it to give the bonus mobility though, maybe someday.

You can use the Lw SMG alongside my guns with no conflict and no edits needed. If you want Lw SMG stats on my SMG i dont think theres a current file that exists that allows that for this version

Getting a bit lost in the comments here and didnt see a solution, is there a way to modify the smg to work with the Longwar SMG? I'm using the standalone mod, not Longwar itself. I'd imagine you'd just have to mess with the config but im not sure what to change.

It's a little disappointing to hear the SMG and Magnum will take longer but hey, life is full of disappointments.

At the very least, it sounds like the other weapons will be ready for combat soon and that makes me happy! Thank you ever so much for doing this! This is my favorite mod and I love being able to kick alien as with my favorite weapons from my favorite FPS in my favroite turn based stragery game.

Ive figured out how to get guns to appear in game and will have to rewrite the mod from nearly scratch. The SMG and Magnum will not be making a debut on the release do to errors i do not know how to fix at this time. You can however expect all other guns to make it on initial release

Thank you for your guys support, ill be looking into the proper ways to update the mods without causing too much confusion. As it stands i am unsure of whether or not i need to upload the mods as new workshop files or as just updates. It will probably be a day or two while i poke around WOTC to figure out whats going on.

If either of you would like to gift wotc that would be absolutely amazing. Ive talked to another modder and i have a pretty good idea of how to update the mods / release new versions.. for the texture bugs at least.
