Hi Mad..........yeah, it's pretty lousy ( COH3). That's why i was begging for a Safe Haven to give it some chance!. It will only fly on the shoulders of modders -- a lot of publishers rely on this lousy trick these days......

Hi MMK.........this is the map i play most of the time. It's great! But could i ask another favour? Would you be so kind as to ship this work of art over to COH3? In time it will be a great game too but badly diminished without a Safe Haven.

The railroad bridge towards the industrial island/docks appears to be indestructible, even though it graphically can collapse and be shown to be at 0% health. This made holding the island impossible despite taking the other bridges down. I'd like to see this issue fixed so enemy AI, including tanks, can't just path over a invisible destroyed bridge.

Yeh just fix the weird hill position going towards the bridge on the southern side and all will be good.

There are some way finding problems causing a lot of traffic on the city side of the map. For AI players right next to the bridge in the fuel sector it's diffcult to get around, mainly because there is no direct access to the bridge - units have to go down the hill in a U-shaped way. A straight access to the bridge there would probably solve the problem.

Cool, but unplayable with all AI vehicles getting stuck on hill near base. Map requires para drops or insertions and doubt that even would work. Fix pathing and a second crossing might make it good for playing. Choke point maps are fun again AI but this one is too choked! Killed many in an endless cycle as the AI ally units all stuck on hill.

@Adler: Create a 24bit .tga image, name it "mapname_loading_background" (change "yourmapname") and put it in your map folder.

Definately works now with that island. Saved a good map. As a fellow budding map maker... could you tell me how you added the loading screen image? I have searched high & low on how to do that but can not seem to get it to work?

The map is greatly detailed, but 736x736 is too big for me , even in a 4v4 circumstance.

the resources are too high for the AI side, +100 ammunations per minute, they spam all their off-map artilleries and abilities to your forces.

Bridge is too long and indestructible, which I am not impressed at this point.

The idea and concept are great, nice map, keep up the good work !

Would it be possible to get a release of this map unchanged other thna perhaps a population cap increase? Myself and a friend are quite enjoying the play on it but it would be fun to have a little more pop cap to work with.

I played on expert difficulty bot(s) team 2 didn't cross the map at all. Bot(s) in my team (team 1) just send 1-2 infantry squads to cross the bridge, as I saw in my game they stack most of armies and vehicles near the bridge

I think the problem with this is that the bridge is too long. The only strategy it offers players is to bulldoze down the bridge asap. Once you plant yoruself on the otherside, the game is over. You've got a lot of space in the water to do something cool with - maybe you can take advantage of that. That will help fix your AI problem too.

Also, you might want to try adding more splats around objects like buildings and bushes - it helps keep them from looking like toy boxes sitting on a table. Another good trick is to play with the tarrain hight around the edges of the builidings and trees just a little. Nice work so far though. Thanks for the upload. :)

I've played it from both sides vs 4 AI. They won't cross the bridge. Why is the bridge so long? Everything else looks great, at least as an AI cruncher.

I think the problem with AI is that there's not enough space for them to move at their side of the map. I'll check this and add more space for them to move as soon as possible.

AI doesn't move across the bridge unless I harrass them at the edge. Bridge is too long. Cannot use arty. Played from position 1 vs 4 AI. Map looks great aside from the long bridge and the infinite lunch break the AI is on.

For me, for the longest time, my AI just sits there in buildings and does nothing, I have not once seen them attack, nor the enemy
