Honestly, nope. It would be nice, however the last time I tried to make a Tier 2 weapon it didn't come out all that great in my opinion--*cough* Magnetic AK-12A *cough*. But the main the reason why is because currently I have no interest in making mods, and I don't see myself coming back to modding for a while. I'm sure one day I will come back to work on some stuff, but for me this is simply a hobby and not a job or anything of that sort. If issues appear that break this weapon mod I will quickly get those fixed, but to answer your question I don't think I'll be making any different tiers, or any other mods for a while. Sorry. :(

As for the suppressors, probably not. There is an alternative way, though it may be annoying and not exactly what you're looking for, but you could open up the console and spawn yourself extra suppressors to put on your guns.

Are you planning on having different tiers for this weapon anytime soon for LW? Its kinda sad not being able to use them after tier 1. Also is there a way I can modify the .ini to give them suppresers by default?

@Negativz No problem, thanks. On a side note, I can't seem to get DETECTIONRADIUS to work. I'm setting it to 0.2f to match LW's SMGs (messing around with weapons, trying to make a bunch of them unique but balanced), but not having any luck. Any ideas?

@shavedllama I don't think you can tamper with the files to hide the AS VAL without causing errors to come up. As for the clutter, I don't really know what to say. Never had an issue with having a lot of weapons so...yeah. Sorry if this doesn't help.

Yes, I get that. I meant whether using this mod I could disable the VAL from showing up entirely (I'm using another AR I like for the moment), and use the VSS only. The only reason at the moment is to de-clutter my menus. Take no offense - I like the VAL, I just feel what I have fits in better, but I still want to use the VSS.

@shavedllama I don't understand the question exactly. The 2 weapons are different types. The AS VAL is an assault rifle while the VSS is a sniper. Only snipers can use the VSS. Everyone else can use the AS VAL.

@∆ Negativz ∆: Users of "LW Toolbox" the "Damage Roulette" feature will cause the weapon spread not to work. In the weapon Select UI screen, weapons will show a flat damage of say 4 vs showing Damage 4-5.

Welp one evening down the hole, but I found the solution to the LW toolbox "Damage Roulette" bug we're all having.

Add the following line to the end of all your weapon templates.

@∆ Negativz ∆ Love these weapons. The inventory icons for them were bothering me a little, though, as they were inconsistent with Firaxis'. Rather than just complain, I tried making a couple of replacements:

VAL .
VSS .

The Unreal package file containing the replacement icons can be downloaded from here [www.dropbox.com] if anyone would like to use them. Just drop it into Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\632040135\Content and overwrite the existing one. Don't forget to make a back up of the original so it can be restored if the replacement is not to taste.

You should make a abilitydescname file so the weps can use char abilitys and what not. You could add in (name)_DETECTIONRADIUSMODIFER = 0.5f as they do have built in slilencers. I'm not 100% sure about this as I've never modded this game, however with the quick look that I did take it seems the way to go.
I love the mod Brah, you did a great job with the textures and I love the sound. Looks really close to the real guns, as close one could come with the game would be my guess. I hope to see more great mods from you Brah.:steamhappy:

may i suggest a custom laser attachment? it just adds a scope and i was hoping for like a small laser on the barrel kinda like the flashlight. great mod i love it!

@HM | NTalkHost Yep. Just go into the mod's folder then go into the folder Config. You'll find a file named XComCV_VAL. You can change the stats there.

It might be better to give the sniper sniper rifle (SVD, SVD and SV-98), and then the VSS Vintarez does not really fit into the sound, and animation
