The best place to get a street map that's great quality and also makes a very large overlay to use in the game is bigmap.osmz.ru/ , which is discussed in the guide.

Hi, there isn't a way for the actual roads to be laid down by the game, however you can get a real life overlay map to 1:1 scale (this Liechtenstein is not to real life scale). If you do it right, you can generate both a real life scale heightmap and road overlay that matches precisely, so that you can trace the roads while you build in the game. You make the road overlay partially transparent so you can see what you're doing in-game. Here's a guide. https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1275917540

hey I wanna remake Vaduz (I don't live there but I wanna try) and it's a real hassle since google street view doesn't go into there. Is there a terrain party-like website but instead of terrain, it exports roads? Thanks.

Hi :) If you look at picture 6, the colored portion is Leichtenstein. Th country is on only one side of the Rhine. The way you can tell you're on the Liechtenstein side is that the start square is in Liechtenstein, with only a tiny bit of Switzerland across the river.
AzOdnem 3 jan. 2020 às 1:35
MrMiyagi is the border visible so i can know which side i am building on?
Thanks!
MrMiyagi  [autor] 3 mar. 2019 às 14:02
Awesome! Great to hear! :)
GlobiEnjoyer 2 mar. 2019 às 10:04
I live next to Liechtenstein and can say that the map looks the same as in reality. Good job
MrMiyagi  [autor] 7 dez. 2018 às 8:52
If you search Hogwarts in the workshop, it will be the only thing that comes up :)

So where do I get the Castle from?
Dreypen 16 nov. 2018 às 11:39
Lol I can imagine, I only played the base game originally and just bought almost all the big expansions! Loved your old work though. And thank you for the quick response I really appreciate it.Tschüss
MrMiyagi  [autor] 16 nov. 2018 às 11:27
Hi, it's got 4 highway connections, if i remember correctly at least 3 rail, definitely 4x air, and for shipping I honestly cannot remember if there is a shipping connection on the Rhine or not. It would only be one connection if so. You can open it up in map editor to see, and you can also add in a line of you want while you're there in map editor.

It's a very old map, so the highway construction isn't as refined as I do now. We used to have to draw the things by eye - both sides of the highway O.o Game has changed a lot :)
Dreypen 16 nov. 2018 às 11:02
Hello, cool looking map, but may I ask what connections it has ? Rail/Shipping/Air/Road ? Or is it missing any ? Thank you for the response.

Thanks, I'm glad and I hope you will have fun with it! If you like the look of the chalets and want to make a wintry Alpine look, you can go "shopping" in my collection for Christmas Village. It's got anything and everything out on the workshop that's Alpine and Christmasy. Well, except the British Pubs... and the Hess truck :D But the German Christmas Market items and landmark buildings are the best! https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1178832516

This is a beautiful map! Thanks for the work! :gorby:
Brechnor 16 mai. 2017 às 14:32
Yes and it really did happen too, took me by surprise as I don't have any weather mods. Only simple map assets. :)
MrMiyagi  [autor] 16 mai. 2017 às 14:27
:steamhappy: Thundersnow!? I know it exists IRL but that's hilarious that you experienced it in-game :D
Brechnor 16 mai. 2017 às 12:55
I just downloaded and loaded this map up to see if I wanted to keep it for a snowy day.... first thing I did was load up the classic channel, it was snowing and lightning struck through the sky which felt positively post apocalyptic... I think this will be the first snowfall map I actually play.
MrMiyagi  [autor] 18 mar. 2017 às 7:52
Made more sense just to add them to required items list and get rid of the old collection. Find them to the right of this page
MrMiyagi  [autor] 18 mar. 2017 às 7:36
Hi Lilah2603. I have no idea what I did (probably got interrupted in the middle of editing the required items), but there is a collection list of the waterfall items with all the required rocks here: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=626724722 O.o I'll be putting them into the required items for this map, though. Thanks for bringing that to my attention! :)
lilah2603 18 mar. 2017 às 6:10
Beautiful Map. On the loading screen it tells me I'm missing several props (rocks) however. You might want to check that.
MrMiyagi  [autor] 6 out. 2016 às 14:57
Thanks Crystal Rose! This one was a lot of fun to build on.
Crystal Rose 6 out. 2016 às 10:45
Gorgeous!
MrMiyagi  [autor] 6 set. 2016 às 7:59
Wow, I think you just might have the most rare immigration heritage humanly possibe! That's really cool :)
Lt Rainbow Slash 4 set. 2016 às 10:13
HA! This is great! Most people dont even know Leichtenstein exists. only reason I do is because my Grandma came to Canada from there. In other words I have my Liechtensteiner Citezenship.

This is hilarious! And awesome!
Robert 3 set. 2016 às 19:09
The only feature this map doesn't have is municipality secession!
MrMiyagi  [autor] 25 jun. 2016 às 7:53
Hi Alejandro, just search for Hogwarts, that's the castle :)
Alejandro Elvira 17 jun. 2016 às 19:16
I really really want that castle!!
MrMiyagi  [autor] 7 jun. 2016 às 15:52
Yup! That's what I was trying to describe but couldn't quite get right. The shadows do that odd disappearing / jumping act. I love mountains so much that I try to ignore it :D but I totally understand if it bothers you. Maybe when they programmed the game they didn't anticipate that there would be people making maps with giant moutain peaks? That would be my guess.
maculator 7 jun. 2016 às 14:44
http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/app/255710/discussions/0/350532795338421734/ This is the problem. And I only have it from shadows casted by mountains :/ so I went for a flater map and everything works fine. Its a shame because that map is just awsome!
MrMiyagi  [autor] 7 jun. 2016 às 14:22
Your shadows are glitching? That doesn't sound normal at all. Do you have any visual mods, and if not, if you mean that the shadows disappear and appear at certain angles within a very small range (like, when you move and they flicker in a tiny area at one particular time of the day), I have that too, and I think it is a limitation of the shadows of the game. It happens even when you're up close and in the shadow of a building. If it bothers you that much, you won't really be able to play on any games with mountains, but note that you will still experience that on maps where anything at all casts a shadow. I set my shadows to high on graphics options
maculator 7 jun. 2016 às 12:22
I have a huge problem with this map (more the game itself) the mountains are so high - my shadows glitch out.
MrMiyagi  [autor] 26 mai. 2016 às 2:51
XD I've done that many times. What I wouldn't give to live in the fresh, open air where you are! Have fun with the map!
Seraphin 26 mai. 2016 às 1:31
Nevermind, I should have read the description first, found the link to the summer map. Seem's I've been too excited *g*
Seraphin 26 mai. 2016 às 1:28
Love your map, since I'm living near Feldkirch. Now I regret I don't own the Snowfall DLC. Do you know, if there is any way to convert a Snowfall Map to Boreal one?

Anyway, very big thanks for your effort. Latest when I buy Snowfall once, I'll give your map a try ... that's a must have. :-)
MrMiyagi  [autor] 17 abr. 2016 às 9:16
Crum, you cannot make tunnels in the map editor.
MrMiyagi  [autor] 25 mar. 2016 às 13:26
Cool! Thanks Adegas! I'm having a blast on Monaco. I got too cold here XD
Dr Sigmund Adegas Freud 25 mar. 2016 às 4:09

Hey
I really Like your map. Played it for an hour of 20 and still playing.
Thanks
Dr Sigmund Adegas Freud 25 fev. 2016 às 10:01
@MrMiyagi i spend hours creating maps of my own liking, then alot more playing them, i am not as talented as you but i make it for my own personal benefit ams enjoyment. Building cities since Simcity 2000. :steamhappy:
MrMiyagi  [autor] 25 fev. 2016 às 9:19
Thanks!!! I'm really grateful for the nice comment! There are some really talented map makers out there for whatever style you like... to create a city of whatever style you can dream up! That's the beauty of this game. Have a good one!
Dr Sigmund Adegas Freud 24 fev. 2016 às 12:44
5 stars for all your work, not a map personally want to play but, awesome work must recognized here! GJ keep creating awesome maps!
MrMiyagi  [autor] 24 fev. 2016 às 7:54
Thanks guys! Xul that is an AWESOME idea! I will definitely simulate cog wheel rail going up a mountainside! Dankesehr b1trex! Es freut mich, dass es auch realistisch ist. :steamhappy:
Brejku 24 fev. 2016 às 7:04
Shadow from the mountain at first city tile sometimes go crazy.
Valito 24 fev. 2016 às 5:59
das ist echt nice wenn man dort oft ski fahren war und es genau so aussieht :D gute map!
Xul 23 fev. 2016 às 9:22
Great map! I built some tram lines with stations up to the highest mountailns (for there are no cogwheel railways until now,,,) and it's really exiting to climb up those mountains in 1st person view. During snow is falling this map looks even more realistic - I love it!
MrMiyagi  [autor] 22 fev. 2016 às 9:45
Thanks Banlieue and Vandragorax! I think that's the best thing about this game: they opened it up for a community who are free to let their creativity run wild.
Vandragorax 22 fev. 2016 às 8:55
Just getting back into Cities since release and VERY EXCITED to try out this map, and your Tropical Paradise / Polynesia map! Amazing work and extremely well detailed! Thank you so much! The stock maps are a complete joke!
