@ZallCaTor
That is good to know, I haven't played around with batteries since I really just play creative and reactors usually do the trick.

@BlackArmor Batteries are the perfect solution. They act as a buffer for those times you have to go into overload. They provide enough power to get you through those turns and landings, and recharge when your flying normally. Far more efficient in terms of resources, and there are really no bottlenecks, just as long as you test the ship before you add the batteries just to make sure you can fly normally without overloading, and then add the batteries.

@Etzan
Yes I'll be the first to admit it's really just stuffed with reactors in order to give it enough power to avoid overload. I would like to see how you've made it work for survival.

As far as the name: Sparrow S1 (for survival) would be my suggestion. Looking forward to hearing from you.

This is a fantastic design. It looks great, handles well, and fills me with ideas for how I could use it planetside. However, when I opened her up to have a look at how viable she would be in my multiplayer games, I saw that the layout works very well in creative, but would encounter serious practical problems in survival mode. I've created a version of her which has tons of utilities which would be useful to a survival player, and I was wondering if I could post her to the workshop. I would cite it as a collaboration with you, of course, and make it explicitly clear that it's a variant of the original Sparrow design.

If yes, what should we call it? Sparrow 2? Sparrow 1A? Let me know what you think!

@WolfGeek101
Yes it is, at least it's not too challenging to hide some thursters underneath.

I quite like it. 'Tis a shame that lift hasn't been implemented into the game outside mods. :/
