I still have the blend file for this, and my skills with Blender have improved quite a bit.
I probably could make those adjustments when I have the time, as well as darken the surrounding skybox a little, yes.
Mostly this skybox was just made for fun and to hopefully give people nightmares. :P

The Ejected mass is a bit too bright and needs to be made with some different textures
other wise good job

could you make one where the quasar is on the horizon and "in the distance" instead of what you have here?

@nubeees i checked if it was my speed mod, i made a new world with only the skybox and still it is corrupted

Alright, I'll push out an update. I think the speed settings in the enviroment file is having a conflict. It also might be an issue with the dev build, but let's hope that's not the case. XD

Do you have a speed mod? I think I might have an idea what's causing it.
(I've had worlds get corrupted before, so I know the pain.)

@nubeees well i had a lot of mods, every save worked, as soon as i installed this mod, every save started corrupting, i tried new worlds with only this mod *gets corrupted* , so im certain its this mod

That's quite odd. I am not sure what would cause that to be honest. I usually play on the stable branches and last time I checked it still worked fine. When did it start corrupting your saves?

Never did I say that this skybox was entirely scientifically accurate. That being said, your feedback is definately appreciated.

Do you not understand what a Quasar is? A Quasar is a type of primordial *galaxy*, not just a black hole. Typically occurs with very young galaxies when the massive or super massive black hole in the center of said galaxy is eating so much dust and material that gravametric distortions result in a regurgitation of significant amounts of energy producing a plasma jet that can be 100's of thousands of light years in length. How would one suffer a near miss from such a thing? It could be seen from billions of light years away. It would be like "nearly missing" the galaxy itself. Besides, once the material near a black hole is consumed, the plasma jet ceases. Therefore, it's unlikely that any galaxies still exist as Quasars.

A skybox like this would make a lot more sense as a rendition of a gamma-ray burst emanating from a black hole-producing hypernova.
