there is a bug with last ability. It doesnt regain controls after faking death for 2 turns.

This class was a really good one back in the day. Thanks for the update and hope you are doing alright.

I just wanted to give another update. I won't be working on this mod anymore. If you ever look inside the code, you'll probably notice that I am NOT an experienced programmer. I just got curious one weekend and this took off a little too far. I've gotten a new job that is very demanding, got a new wife that is even more demanding (kidding), and I'd have to re-teach myself how to port this over to WoTC.

Don't expect any updates unless some Hero knows how to update this mod and can navigate my messy MESSY code.

@jeffgass: Isms just has a busy life currently. That said, someone'll eventually get around to making a WoTC version. We just had the Bruiser, Fury, and so on from Grimy's classes get revived, after all.

@Jace I can confirm that this mod doesn’t work with WOTC unfortunately...we do need a WOTC moder for this one ASAP

A strange thing is, that it is crushing without "Starship Troopers - Flag" mod on my computer.

So i Took a look at it and the main issue with transporting the rogue class to WoTC is that the x2 devs did a major overhaul of the visualization system.. Unfortunately Im not a programmer so I have no clue on how to fix it other than using reddit/search engines to possibly find the issue.

Someone needs to take this over so I can have an smg class to run with along with a pistol one to go with the wotc lw2 perk and classes.

@everyone: be aware this still works fine for Vanilla and LW2 last i checked. Isms asking for someone else to "update" is more for a WoTC version of it (which'll require using the WoTC mod tools, recompiling, etc.)

Excellent work isms! looking to using the ghost tree and lone wolf tree again. I see you removed cheap shot. That is a really good real life stealth ability perhaps reconsider and change the name, didn't like the name 'cheap shot' doesn't do recon/stealth assination justice I mean its recon stealth war not a cheap shot. Get permission to change the name. Anyhow, great job man.

@Lehemoth: the Shock Trooper's a close second, but it's also more focused on half-and-half "SMG" and "Burning things at all times"

I've got the basic class created. Having trouble with the steam upload though. Soon as I get that figured out, I will get the basic version uploaded.

Seems to be some interest in this mod. I am downloading the development tools now, and will work on updating this mod. Once I am done, I will link to the updated version. I've never modded XCOM 2, so no idea how long it will take me to learn, but I have modded other games, so I should be able to get it.

Well, fixed my own issue... I learned how to edit and recompile mods to make changes to this class to make it work with LW2 pistols and some other personal tweaks. Great mod, thanks to the creator.

Is there an ini that I can edit to change the charges on Concussion Shot/Sap? I really love this class mod, and I have done a lot of tinkering with the inis to make it work well with LW2 pistols. Would love to adjust the charges though, but they seem to be scripted and I am not seeing how to change them.

Haven't seen anything about the taunt damage immunity fix, still relevant?

that said, I do agree that we need a WoTC Rogue port. it's unique and fun, and pairs really well with Musashi's Tactical Suppressors for some fun stealth assassinating, especially for the fact you can also toss a visible one onto their pistol with Mod Everything and Pistol Upgrades.

@Rhett: got four classes for ya that're as fun and unique. Divine Lucubration's Sniper and Infantry classes, Rimrunner's Field Medic, and Phantom's Tank Class (it even has a custom drone model).

yes, I know the Specialist can heal already, but having the field medic means you can focus on having your Specialists being hackers, plus Field Medics can carry more medikits, heal and overwatch as the same action, inoculate against poison for other troopers and at high ranks even having healing and buff auras.

these four are a good set that all have entirely custom perks for every level (apart from Tanks getting Shredder, but that's partially to make up for them being damage sponges and not getting many other offensive options)

This class is absolutely one of the best on the workshop and I hope that you will consider porting it over to WOTC. Fantastic work!

I don't like most of the classes, but this one stood out as fun and unique, and a reason to use SMGs. I hope you (the creator) are doing well and will return to XCOM 2 (baby!) at some point.
