Melee yeah they shouldn't be able to have strong melee since they use a gladius.

Awesome, glad to see things updated. Last time I played this it was way too strong, perhaps you could decrease its melee attack a little?

Here is the new update with hollow square formation and shield now protects against projectiles while in testudo head is protected.

I tried to do the religion thing however because of the engine 100% roman pagan religion so would never see these units.

I've since stopped playing FOTE altogether because it became clear it won't be updated XD but man I had a lot of fun with your mod man

It would be great if you could tweak this mod further to make the legion be available at level 4 barracks, or at least put a cap on the unit, or even make it so it is available only under Pagan religion. If doing this may diminish the popularity of your mods, you could simply release another version with these tweaks.. Just a suggestion because I don't like being able to recruit very OP Segemented Legionnaires right from the start.

Well it has a lot to do with your graphics card. If it can't handle too many troops it will scale down numbers.
