Hi, great work so far!

QUESTION
We play on a "Water World" server, and all the tribes use rafts. Can you create those raft types ina new mod?
- 30x10
- 40x15
- 50x20

All rafts with 50 height, and 15,000 items maximum.
If you can move the stearing location from the back to the middle of the front, that would be extremely useful (remove the visible rudder at the back, add a steer at the front).
The rafts could look like connected metal foundations and allowto build on top or on the sides (walls).
All the rafts should have snap points along the center line from front to back.
And all rafts should have an open area in the middle (5x3) or in the middle of the left and right side, 2 floors away from the edge, 2x1 openings.

Since they took turrets off dinos. You can not put turrets on the larger raft now. Is there a work around for this?

So the ceiling/foundation method worked for about 3 spaces. I walked away from the boat for a few minutes and when I came back to finish the ceiling\foundation method no longer worked. I restarted, uninstalled the mod and reinstalled and still its not working. Is this a dead mod? i noticed no one answered Primus and that was in May.

foundation ceiling method doesnt work anymore. any idea how to disable this far from platform problem?

What is the height limit on this raft?

Try using a thatch roof off a foundation thats on the raft, then place a stone foundation (havent tried metal yet) under the thatch roof, as of yesterday it worked for me. Only problem with this method is you can only build on the foundations 1 or 2 out from the platform before it lets you know you are too far from the platform to build upwards.

Got the engram to show by raising it up higher on my mod load list. Still can't do the ceiling tile foundation trick.

When I log back on, my raft is gone and everything else is still there, sitting in the water like it was built as a house that way.

is this going to be updated

For some reason after the last update the raft has disappeard from my game

well guys i hear that the ark ppl have decided to fix our little foundation then ceiling tile bug. I will begine working on expanding the actual skeleton of the raft so you cna continue to build bigger rafts :)

Thanks for all of the positive feedback on the raft I am glad so manny enjoy it. As far as making the camera behave differently thats not somethin i can do with the editor its just how the game works. The game sees the raft as a dino and so it drives the same.

I just tested the mod and it is still working as stated. Im not sure why you guys are having bugs. I run this on my server and its doing fine. I also have been doing the ceiling/found part just fine aswell

@ghost I was having the same issue but noticed it has to be thatch ceilings in order to snap a foundation underneath don't know why,but it worked for me.

yeah can't do the whole ceiling to foundation trick either and i have it to where there is more structures added on platforms on my server but doesn't help either ..

Try to make another boat but can't extend it with ceiling and foundation method since we change host on server any idea?

Why this mod does not work and is updated up to date.

:( we built the boat nice and big. Left the server for refresh and then when we came back on the boat had vanished leaving the structure we built upon it flying in the air.

Love your mod Realy, the only issue I have is sometime I dock in my base and sometime it stuck in ceiling of my docking bay but it also happen with regular raft so...

2 things I can request, more faster or a boost speed like stam... and the one It should be realy great should be that use A and D to turn when we watch camera look (K) and a toggle W for auto forward, you do this, and this is the best ARK mod ever for me ;) but great work by the way it make me appreciate ARK and Valhalla more with my pirate ship no need base anymore

@Foogroo: this is the mods I use on our server, the mod work fine with this list and this loadorder. Hmmm, I have installed it, kept it updated and everything yet the engram doesn't exist anywhere on my server. I even went so far as to type in "raft" in my engram list. The only 2 things that showed up were the regular raft and the crafting table. Maybe this mod doesn't play well with other mods I don't know at this point. Such a great premise. I really wanted this to work.

How high can you build on it? normal raft is about 6 pillars high right?

Sry guys I have a boat in progress but its very slow going as i am not very good at the dev kit. If you guys find any issues with this mod feel free to post and I will see if it is fixable.

Guys the engram is there, its not at the bottom of the list like most are. It also doesnt unlock untill 30.

any chance of adding in a boat you can build on ... maybe one that you can place the driver area so its moveable and one that allows quet to land on it and build water piping? lol
