@DeadHeadGD4L Did you try current vanilla laser antennas? They have unlimited range, as long as there are no obstacles. And if there are obstacles, you can make an array of at least 1 intermediate antenna(example: far side of planet1 - satellite at planet1 - satellite at planet2 - far side of planet2).

If you made an AIO mod to make antennas unlimited range power efficient and not need a direct line Ill give you all my points

@DeadHeadGD4L honestly i have no idea, i lost the original mod files years ago too but if it doesnt work i could maybe look into making a new one

Yo does this still work? I am in need of a lightweight mod for planet to planet connections on my server

Title says 20,000. Is it 20k km or 2m km?

The problem with this mod: Laser communication is not long range. Its used for short range high security communications. Still useful so I'm not saying its bad. Just pointing that out ;)

can you do a no LOS version of this? Would be great!

Because whats the point of lasers that have short range? Seriously NASA has been using lasers to ping the moon for quite a while. And in the Planets announcement trailer they show just that, a laser antenna connecting to a rover on the moon... so why are vanilla laser antennas so short ranged? Thanks for this.
