For anyone who would be interested, I've published a rebuild of this mod. Completely new models to fit in more with the new aesthetic of the game and up to date definition files so all the blocks function as they're supposed to.

Would you mind if I borrow parts of this ( the small connectors ) for use with my PETROL mod?

The small connectors would be of great benefit fueling small block ships.

i absolutely love your connector for a permanent replacement, but you said if you i had ideas you're open. how aboutt a conveyor with a lift and door. so that when opened, the connector is open and sticking out, and when closed its like a smooth surface , like no connector is present at all. pretty much like the boarding ramp, with an exterior look outside, and a modelled system in a small space

Could you put the non mergable conveyor blocks in here as well. They are more like connectors than tubes since their only real purpose is to be used in merge block based docking systems

@killer96 that crash was due to having the large to small grid base adapter on the ship while docking, it was reproducible with vanilla connectors as well

@Killer96 I am on Stable now, but since Dev was just ported to Stable I guess they are the same for now (ish) :) Seems to only be on dedicated servers. Single player works fine

It seems that if you connect your connecters to vanilla ones between station and ship dedicated server crash. Easy to reproduce.

with that size you wouldnt be able to transfer a lot of building components due to the game systems

Just the way it is for the big blocks, so I would suggest 2x1x1 small blocks, to have the ability to have a centred connector on ships that dont have a single block as center.

Would it be possible to have a small ship version of the 2x1 connector as well if it is not too much to ask for? Because right now if you build a ship with a 2x1 symetry, there is no centered connector available yet

is it possible to add updated cargo containers as well?
I really need a med cargo for small ships that have 6 ports, 3 large and 3 small.
Current container has 2 sides with no ports, I cannot connect in Tee or corner configuration.
Trying to do welding ship in a very small footprint. with vanilla I use 2 bends and a conveyor, If I had this extra port I could replace these 3 blocks with 3 med containers.

This mod without the modpack is causing a recurring CTD when using the small non-armored connector to connect to the vanilla connector.

I isolated it after taking out mods one by one, trying now the MODPACK of these series and hoping it won't crash because it is so damn convenient for planets on survival when you start with almost nothing.
