@[C.G.I] DynoWolfYT If you're asking if this is a gun, no, it is a ship.

I have been ever so slowly building this in survival for the longest time xD. It seems like progress has halted, but I cant wait to finish what it is rn.:steamhappy:
Zed_Zeta 2. maj 2016 kl. 15:50
Knowing my "finalizer" build from the new movie I don't belive many of us will be able to run let alone start up this ship in game. Unless you have a super computer moving this thing will crash the game. I'd say use it as an in door map, just coming from my own large builds and experience. I think i had the largest star destroyer build until you cam along lol. Keep the work up! :D
KilledJoy 20. apr. 2016 kl. 13:45
Waiting so patiently on this mofo ... puts lots of other starwars ships to shame and its only "14% complete"
Shiesty 13. apr. 2016 kl. 16:37
I would suggest the Leviathen for the main engines on this build, you may have to adjust interior plans a bit to fit it correctly, but if I'm remembering the size of the engine, a few of them should match the large thrusters some so dearly adore! :steamhappy:

В рот оно ебись. парень ты решил 1 к 1чтоли сделать?
MinuteFat 2. apr. 2016 kl. 23:29
V On another note, there is also a mod that includes those laser cannons of old, you know the ones, which we see mounted to the Star Destroyer(And most other Republic and Empire designed ships).
MinuteFat 2. apr. 2016 kl. 23:28
If you were willing to take the "Risk", a modded version could make use of the "Titan" or "Leviathan" engines. Both of which are absolutely massive beasts of capital-class engines. Paired with a Mexpex(Or any other larger capacity warp drive mod)drive, it could truly shine.

Good ship but please update a few times not freuquently but mabey 3 rooms a month
SpaaaaaaceMouse 18. jan. 2016 kl. 7:50
Thought i posted this before but, i apparently didn't. I tried swapping the gyro's to large mod ones and it appeared to have improoved the framerate by about 1FPS. Doesn't sound like a big deal but kind of is when your sitting at ~15.
Maloo 15. jan. 2016 kl. 20:28
looks good, but like most large ships there normaly are huge hunk of lag. which sucks because most the best looking ships are rather large, thats one thing i can't work out i can run every game out today on max yet some ships on space engineers have to such horribale lag you cant use them.
[FR]HunterHawks(Wolf) 15. jan. 2016 kl. 4:38
Hello @Pyravia , y make a acclamator class ship in 1:1 scale whould you join me to make some star wars ship in 1:1 like neulon B frigate or CSI frigate munificent and invisible hand ? y want to make an venator in 1:1 scale too
flareon the floof 14. jan. 2016 kl. 22:24
im in agreement that a few large ship mods are perfectly justified at this point

at the very least for some mega thrusters and gyros
Carkoth 14. jan. 2016 kl. 20:15
Thank you!

A star destroyer is 5,249ft or 1600m
The ship is 392 blocks long (so far)
One block is 2.5m
2.5m * 392 = 980m
980m / 1600m = 0.612 or ~2/3
1m = 3.2808ft
280 * 3.2808 = 3,215.2ft
3,215.2ft / 5,249ft = 0.612 or ~2/3

Captain Chaos 14. jan. 2016 kl. 8:33
sorry, that would be block length of a 1:1 scale. If it's 2/3 scale then it would be 427 if you round it up.
Captain Chaos 14. jan. 2016 kl. 8:29
as far as i am aware, they are 1600m long so to venture a guess since blocks are 2.5m i'd say 640 based on that
Carkoth 13. jan. 2016 kl. 19:50
How long is it in blocks?
Anubis4123 13. jan. 2016 kl. 16:37
I wonder how this will look from the surface of a planet 19km in size, completely covered in tall and thick dark green trees... just saying.........

On the note of the lights i would probably recommend using the programmable block. This way you can get a list of all the internal lights and figure how far the player is from each light by getting all of them in a list and looping through it. Given i haven't really tinkered much with the program block, I'm not sure feasable this is (was thinking using ship antenna to locate player maybe?) or even if it is, if it will make it more laggy. Anyways, just a thought :steamhappy:.
SpaaaaaaceMouse 13. jan. 2016 kl. 12:11
Just tried it out, i'm at 15FPS, thats better than i expected honestly. Can i make a suggestion or two? Because of the mass, you might want to consider a larger gyroscope and thruster mod. I use Codecat's in some of my larger ships, and you can accomplish the same thing with a few dozen instead of thousands. That should boost your framerate some. I think one or two mods are reasonable at this scale.
Defalt0_o 13. jan. 2016 kl. 7:32
The great project, but you need supercomputer to fly on it.
GenOne 13. jan. 2016 kl. 7:12
Wow! I guess I'll quit complaining about my current large/large build (currently 50,000,000kg+). You have taken on quite a challenge and it already looks great.
DSD 12. jan. 2016 kl. 23:29
[tihs] there is structural integrity in ME.
also i would recommend the shields mod, as they were light, agile and fast (for their size) due to low armor, they survived due to shields (the impstar/impstar deuce)
Sxoras 12. jan. 2016 kl. 22:25
great project, keep it up and best of luck !!!
your plans about interior and exterior details are very impressive, as well as sticking to the vanilla version at the same time!

i just love em big ships...

@bad humour: im pretty sure Pyravia ment outer rims of planets SOI where gravity is quite low, star destroyers were not supposed to go into the stmosphere and land they would collapse under their own mass, if i recall corectly. Though there is no structural integrity in SE, but you would need some nasa class pc to manage such sim anyways ;p

My pc gonna cry :((
Bad Humour 12. jan. 2016 kl. 1:38
Will this thing be able to fly and a planets gravity!? you would need Large Hydrogen Thrusters 351435 thrusters to accomplish that and its not even completed? I am saying this because you said you flew it in a gravitational field. Anyways Awesome project, It something I would like to help with but it seems you have got it covered. Good Luck. :steamhappy:
VoXtheSergal 12. jan. 2016 kl. 1:14
I only wish I could help somehow. I've got a thing for 1-1 scale ships, and I've had some experience creating some Homeworld 2 replicas that I've never actually come about finishing.
Pyravia  [ophavsmand] 11. jan. 2016 kl. 22:42
Reno,
I that is actually the plan, only the lights will turn on when players are nearby to give the illusion that the lights are always on. This will be (painfully) implemented torwards the very end of the project when the internal layout is finalized. The end goal is to have everything properly labled too; so once the internal layout is complete I remove all light sources, cameras, ssensors and doors, then go through and set everything up one room at a time. I have set this up before and I agree, it definately helps (about 2-15 FPS for me on ships half this size). Some doors will not be automated though, primarally blast doors (hanger doors), bunks, utility rooms and areas, and so on. ^D^ Thank you for the suggestion though, you are on point with this!
Tzeentch's Aeldari Spirit Stones 11. jan. 2016 kl. 16:25
as a way to reduce lag in the ship i would recommend using sensors to locally detect players within each room and turn on or off lights accordingly, this can be done without timer blocks by simply putting the light group "ON" function on the first action icon, and the "OFF" function on the second action icon, this should save you a lot in lighting and shading memory, and if you want you can go a bit higher by automating the doors with sensors as well, no timer blocks needed, but if you want to tie the lights and doors to a single sensor you'll need timer blocks which i dont recommend when dealing with more than a few doors.. good luck! i hope this helps :D
Pristine Technomancer 11. jan. 2016 kl. 16:20
i love how the construction looks part of the ship as opposed to a square bland chunk missing

http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=585386576 is one i started a lil while back but like zombie said u need a beast of a pc to play that world, i lag bad on it now thats why i gave up on it till i upgrade or the game gets more performance updates
stewartatstewart 11. jan. 2016 kl. 15:44
You should add the huge neverending chasm thats apparently on all of the large imperial structures. aka a power colum thing that drops out into space via random side hatches. as well as random money man doors "they make no sense as you cant access them normally".
SpaaaaaaceMouse 11. jan. 2016 kl. 15:34
I like your enthusiasm, and i'm definitely not saying not to, but something that scale is going to take a enormous ammount of time, and even at a normal star destroyer scale without a full interior, SE already becomes a slideshow unless your running a supercomputer.
KilledJoy 11. jan. 2016 kl. 15:31
Looks aweesome so far... nobody ever makes or at least finishes large scale high quallity star wars ships..
Daniel L Parry 11. jan. 2016 kl. 15:00
So, when do you start work on a to scale Super star destroyer :P .......
iPeculiar 11. jan. 2016 kl. 14:58
i once had a dream to do something like this, i accedently deleted it, but you my good sir must keep my dream alive
