Thanks for the info. Will hopefully have a better model by the end of next week then :)

yea I just move them until they are slightly in front of the wall so they won't flash back and forth. This is a good way to cause then you can make the window texture higher resolution than having to take up a huge space on your texture for an entire wall of windows.
thebigeasy66  [ophavsmand] 22. jan. 2016 kl. 22:04
I actually had done that originally only to find that the textures conflicted with each other (in blender, I didn't have it all as one texture at that point to test ingame. I assumed it would be the same result)

So you're saying the textures won't conflict ingame if I hover the windows 1cm of the wall?

If you want really crisp looking windows. This is what I do. Make single planes with the window texture. That way you don't get bleeding effects happening. http://i.imgur.com/9TReR74.jpg

Idk, what are you saving the textures as? Try Png.

Didn't work...its fine when its up close: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=606474107

But as you get farther away it gets worse..: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=606474122

and worse: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=606474139

and worse: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=606474155

I really don't want to post something like this. It looks too sloppy...
thebigeasy66  [ophavsmand] 22. jan. 2016 kl. 21:13
Ok thanks, I'll try that.
Leo Mystic Magic 22. jan. 2016 kl. 21:12
That is caused by a bad illumination map. I'm guessing your background is 100% black and your windows are like a high white color right? If so, Change the background to 192,192,192... That will make it so there wont b edges around the window.

*the texture for that part of the building is 2048x2048
thebigeasy66  [ophavsmand] 22. jan. 2016 kl. 21:01
Hey is there any way to keep the textures from blurring like this?

All textures are 2048x2048. I've looked at other buildings and the textures are clear even up close. Is there something I'm not doing or some trick I'm missing?
Leo Mystic Magic 19. jan. 2016 kl. 11:08
You won't. The snow will be on a single map type only.
thebigeasy66  [ophavsmand] 19. jan. 2016 kl. 11:04
I wonder how these will look after the Snowfall update. Hopefully I don't have to update all of my assets.
Leo Mystic Magic 18. jan. 2016 kl. 21:00
yea I already know about that, I might do some props in select areas.
thebigeasy66  [ophavsmand] 18. jan. 2016 kl. 20:58
Yes, but if you raise the course off the ground like I did, you won't be able to decorate it in game because props do not detect the mesh like in the asset editor. Try placing your golf cart on one of my assets in game. Maybe Bloodypenguin can make a mod.
Leo Mystic Magic 18. jan. 2016 kl. 20:03
Ok Thanks for the info. I'm probably just not gonna place any props on mine and just let people use more beautification to decorate their areas.
thebigeasy66  [ophavsmand] 18. jan. 2016 kl. 18:58
They won't gather if the tourist stat is 0. I still put people markers on mine because people could change the stats and then people would gather. I don't think the sub buildings can get people bacause they can't have any network attachments. I haven't really tested this.
Leo Mystic Magic 18. jan. 2016 kl. 13:00
Hey question, do you actually get people gathering marker props to work on sub buildings? It's not working for me and I looked at yours and I'm not seeing people gather on them either.
thebigeasy66  [ophavsmand] 14. jan. 2016 kl. 19:36
Looks nice.
thebigeasy66  [ophavsmand] 14. jan. 2016 kl. 19:21
Well, you can't rely on the coordinates in blender(or whatever you use) when you enter the coordinates in for the sub buildings. You just have to eyeball them in game and keep making adjustments until it looks seamless. If you want to make them conform to the land, use a template of an asset that does, and not the one boformer provided. Not much is different from the directions. It will probably require lots of testing after uploading, so set it to private until you can confirm that the downloaded version works properly. Honestly, it was pretty hard in the beginning, but now I'm familiar with the process and it isn't too complicated.

As for the road sign, I did what you said you did with your golf assets. I set all tourism to 0.
Leo Mystic Magic 14. jan. 2016 kl. 19:06
Hey, how hard was it to get the sub buildings enabler to work for these? I never used it but I want to for some golf greens. Also I noticed you get rid of road disconnected sign, how did you do that?
