The step by step tutorial moves too fast, it's hard to keep up. It would be more helpful if you could learn the strategy at your own pace, then speed it up after it's know what you're doing, maybe adding another campaign stage for it.

I don't think Zero remembered that most people playing this are indeed beginners, and will make many mistakes. That intro is a punishment. Why? I know I'm playing a fast castle tutorial. I don't need to sit for a solid 20 seconds every time I mess up to listen to it.

Makes me feel quite bad at the game - which I am, but I don't need to be reminded by the tool that should help me get better.

I'm pepega player. It doesn't show up in custom campaigns and there's no Community Campaigns label anywhere... Help me or I'll be pepega player forever :(

It's a great tutorial, I find. I love the interactiveness - but I hate having to relisten to the intro again and again... Cheers!

Oh, and, it would be great to know the target times we should aim for in the first place and whether or not the time is counted from the beginning of the map, or from the "go" signal.
It would save a lot of time to just get going right away :)

And another thing... I'd prefer it to be a map, rather than a campaign, because the map could be exchanged easily in the editor - while here, this is only doable with tools, I think. If it means losing the "shoot the boar now" trigger, I could live with that ^_^

I couldn't make it past grade B since release. I would recommend people having issues to grab some note paper or a small sheet and write down the build order. Stick it somewhere near your screen. It'll be of huge help.

Every time I run this scenario, after a few minutes I'm told to start over because I'm not making villagers fast enough. I try to do exactly what the tutorial says and I make villagers as fast as I can, but I'm not gathering food fast enough to keep the TC from idling. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

This is a pretty awesome tutorial. Didn't do much for my self esteem though. E grade on my first try lol.

Hopefully that got your attention. If you don't see it in the scenarios list, that's because it doesn't show there... Go to Single Player -> Campaigns . On the right side, you should see it under Community Campaigns .

@ZeroEmpires hi, somehow it's not showing up in the scenarios. Did I do something wrong? I subscribed and did the same things like I did with the hotkey workshop, which did work :) thx for that by the way

Yay, C grade after 2 weeks of practice! Also it bugged in a way that when I was just going to go into imperial age it told me to click up into castle age and I could defeat the AI even if I destroyed all of his buildings and killed every unit.

Thanks for this, made me realise the importance of queuing up villagers constantly and making multiple town centres once the economy is up and running. I failed in the grade but used the tips in the next offline game and it made so much difference even though i wasn't doing it effectively.
time to keep practicing!

@Havada to reach faster times think in advance, for instance the tutorial gives sortof delayed instructions , to get A and above you should be doing things in advance. For instance when your boar runs out I send the 4 straight away without waiting for the narrator. Also remamber to manually return , there's a brief period of time where you have to do it in order to constantly produce from TC. I also catch myself queing 1 worker too much right before LOOM. Which delays the build quite a bit. Before Castle when you're about to build market and smith. Plop down the market first , then the smith, you're going to shave off a few seconds there as well, as smithy has faster building time.

Okay so I didn't manage to get a single A+ during your tutorial (only A-s) but I decided to try an arena game vs 1700+ with this strategy (I am ~1600). I modified it a bit for the fast castle drop so after clicking to the feudal I put 7 vills on stone and researched stone mining just after the axe. I went castle with one vill less than I should according to the tutorial and, belive me or not, I reached it at 15:34 with good res and 650 stone for the castle just in the moment when 4 of my vills reached enemy walls. I managed to put a castle on 2 stones and 1 gold (he still had his bonus stone and main gold secured), I built sw, range, ram+mango+10 xbows and the push was real. Meanwhile just after the castle I added 2nd TC. Few fights happened but soon I was able to click up to the imp and treb his only castle, when trebs approached the gg was called. It was 100% clean xD I went up at 15:34, he went up at 17:00 and it changed a lot. All thanks to your guide!

I'm guessing that these grades are taking into account that there's like a 30 second intro at the beginning right? Like, this isn't expecting us to be working as soon as the game starts I'd assume.
