@Avanya Ah, that makes sense. Thank you!

@EngineerMedic: All non-growables have a stat for garbage accumulation which I just increased
So, I'm not sure if anyone has asked this, but how did you get it to produce more garbage than many other buildings in the game? (This is not a complaint, since I usually keep a garbage facility or two next to this thing anyway.)

I love these waste water assets by Avanya. It looks amazing building a waster water plant with this. Many, many thanks. Really good looking stuff, all fully functional and easy to use, see: https://youtu.be/jOu0lPlXUis

Ah I see
Thank-you! Your assets look way better than vanilla's anyway
@Starfoth The Burgundy Silk Rug: Yup, it did, and the Sunset Harbor one works exactly like this one does, except it pollutes the ground. :P Basically there's nothing new about that functionality, it was always possible to make in the game. :)
Starfoth The Burgundy Silk Rug 2021
Didn't sunset harbor add a similar functionality recently? Can this mod integrate with that?
Thank you very much! amazing asset! great work!
Love it. It one doesn't take up too much room and can solve your pollution problem quite quickly when used in series.
Oh, I tried connecting them and then into a sewage facility, then I simply did as you've said and now there's no sewage problem, thanks mate it's a fantastic additive to the game experience, especially in maps where sewage is a problem :)
@HeSus: You just connect them like you would any other sewage/water facility in the game. They don't actually interact like they would in real life as the game simply isn't that complicated. The different buildings are just options to have something other than the same building over and over again. :)
Hey mate, is there a guide showing in which order I connect the facilities to each other?
@dreffy: Please read the description. The 2nd sentence explains why it does create noise pollution.
This facility shouldn't produce noise pollution.
@Diego G: No, not anymore. After Natural Disasters making clean water caused some issues with these, so I changed it to only deal with sewage. On the positive side that means they can be placed in industrial areas without issue.
Does this also make clean water?
@RV770: Yes, it treats sewage just like the default ones, only it doesn't need to be placed on the shoreline. :)
does it work ?
@FullRefund so im glad to see im not the only one who was worried about it, as i was worried myself... i just didnt really bother about it, but now that is ee what has happened, and that avanya has given us pumping stations to replace the water stations on the rivers is nice... my thought though, is that are these able to be built in like with the sewage treatment plant, make it able to be a large sewage/water plant area? or does the sewage thing pollute the groundwater the pumping stations bring up?
@FullRefund: Np and sorry for the inconvenience
@Avanya I guess I should have searched my assets a bit more. All three of those are already in my list (not surprisingly since I subscribed to almost everything you made). Thanks. :)
@FullRefund: I've got a large pumping station , a medium pumping station and a small pumping station to take care of water production. I'll do some testing of those to see if they produce enough water and might buff them a bit to compensate for these no longer producing water.
@Avanya I just wanted you to know that you made a grown man cry today (yes, that's me). My favourite set of assets of all time (yes, these) stopped producing water which I now see was done purposefully. I actually thought my game was broken somehow while I frantically plopped down water thingies (been so long since I used vanilla ones I even forgot what they are called). Pretty please make something to go with this that does generate water as I am going to miss my Water and Waste Processing Plant area I set up in every city (well away from industrial areas).

By the way, everything you do is great except maybe taking away my (sorta) fresh water. :steamsad:
Fix should be up now. It's been too long since I made these I forgot what the "Use ground water" actually did xD
I'm on it
After the update my town get flooded
@Avanya: i think you were right.. i was putting htem on the edges of my industrial area. apparantly not far enough
@Steve: Hmm, that sounds strange. As long as they're connected to the water/sewage pipe grid they should be fine. It shouldn't matter if they connect through each other or not. Do they have enough power? If you can grab a screenshot of them I'll see if I can spot what's up.
Great work! Is there a specific way the buildings should be connected? I put 2 sludge tanks next to each other but one of them stops working. I have tried multiple different connections but one of them always fails. Or is one supposed to be used while the other empties? Do you have screenshot of your water pipe map
@(UB)BlackDeath: Sounds like it was placed on polluted ground.
the moment i add this to my city everyone gets sick and my entire city dies any time i've tried
Charles Farley 2017
Almost killed my city. Didn't see the IMPORTANT note in the description. My bad. The author should highlight the info even bigger so people like me won't miss it!. Thanks for the asset.

Thanks Avanya. I will try it on reddit! :)
@Jensoo: I'm sorry you're having trouble, but this asset isn't the cause. I'd recommend you try and post on the Cities: Skylines subreddit - there's alot of helpful people and someone might be able to help you figure out what's causing your issue.
Since the new DLC I got problems with my game. I subscribed to Loading Screen Mod to find the failing asset. When I have this processing tank enabled it says "Level loaded, simulating failed." :(
Friendly Monkey 2016
Thanks :) Tested it and they're as great as ever, excellent addition to the game!
@Friendly Monkey: Same as before ND. Buildings rarely break when the game updates. :)
Friendly Monkey 2016
What's the status of this with Natural Disasters?
Will check into it. Thanks for the reply!
@chris_852: Make sure it isn't on polluted ground. Placing it near industry will cause your cims to get sick just like with a water tower.
Whenever I use this as my primary sewage treatment method, my citizens all get sick.
Ah i didnt realise that. yeah tried with no other mods but that makes sense now that i know that. thanks mate
@TelMan: I'm having no issues with it. For me it's showing minus as it can't show both water and sewage (it shows water minus sewage, which in this case is minus). Does it say it's operating normally? Have you tried it without any mods on?
This isnt working at moment as showing 0 pumping. not sure why as could be latest update. :(
Hi Avanya, thank you so very much for these (and all your other water/ sewage treatment assets). I use them all the time. For large cities my sewage treatment plant gets quite large, and I was thinking that it would be even better if there would be tanks with different color variations (where the cleaning process is at a different stage). Would that be easy to do? I have absolutely no knowledge about graphic design. If so, it would be a great addition. Pretty please :)
@omnius: Yeah, I realized that too late. I figure an update changing the name back won't really help as people who have replaced it after the name change would have to do that again. Next time I'll stick to just changing the name in the game and live with the file name being different.

Sorry for the inconvenience everyone!
You have to be careful about changing asset names as that makes them disappear from the map. I absolutely love your series of water and garbage buildings that work together so nicely, I no longer use the core game stuff.

I also gave your set of buildings a nice review in my Skylines YouTube video here at https://youtu.be/IO-Tmtm7L-Y . I arranged them nicely in an area. Look for them around the 8 minute mark.
That is possible. I had the names in Danish, which just translated to process tanks, so I looked at pictures of different tanks and picked the name from what looked most similar. I'll give the name an update. :)
Pop goes the civilian! 2016
This is a useful (and visually appealing) asset, but one tiny detail keeps confusing me: the name. I'm pretty sure that these aren't actually sedimentation tanks.

The section w/ the radial lines looks (at least in the satellite photo) like it's being heavily aerated, which (along with a quick perusal of da.wikipedia.org via Google Translate, and a long-standing obsession with wastewater treatment technologies) leads me to suspect that these are the plant's activated sludge process basins.
